The highlights of my BBBF 2026 with my sister, Multi-Award Winning Illustrator and Author-Illustrator Diane Ewen @creativedewen and our friend Mayo Agard-Olubo @mayo.ao.writer . Brilliant story and fantastic illustrations at their best. The Dust Bunny actually put in a surprise appearance at this children's event!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed headliner Queenie: Love, Mess and Everything in Between.

Upset because I missed "Mercy Step" author @marxia1 when Diane caught up with her.

At @the_lowry Wild Things - Animals In Children's Books Exhibition on Saturday 18th July with @creativedewen. Loads of kids and parents came to this opening. Drinks, Fruit-kebabs and cake was had.
Everyone had a fantastic time walking through the picture book based, alphabetically-ordered animal stories.
Brilliant illustrations throughout.
If you have little kids, do try and visit @the_lowry in the 6 weeks holidays. We had a great day with Diane doing a book signing and recording a blog for the gallery.

For the lovers of coffee flavoured things.
I've had problems finding coffee flavoured chocolates for a while but came across Marks & Spencer's Coffee Collection the other day.
They're sensational because you have 5 different examples of how coffee can be blended with chocolate. A brilliant idea from

Beautifully illustrated unicorns galore in “The Great Unicorn Escape.” Their identities are unique, colours bold and they possess a range of intuitive expressive faces.
The Great Unicorn Escape introduces Star, Norrie’s adventurous little sister and also the little siblings of the other unicorns from The Great Unicorn Rescue.
When a search for baby dragons leads Star down a winding forest path, will she be able to find what she’s looking for?
A delightful story about siblings, companionship and making new friends, … from “Multi-Award Winning” illustrator Diane Ewen, from the “Never Show A T-Rex A Book” series.
