📣📣📣 PSA You've enough time to make a cuppa, gather the rest of the house and sit down for 9pm when *The Blame* starts on #ITV tonight!

Adapted from @charlottelangleyauthor novel, its not your usual crime drama, despite starting off that way. Its much more complex than that and really shines a light on very modern, prevelent topics, not just in the police force but in wider society too. Please, make it a must watch - whether that be binging all now or each Sun and Mon as they air over the next three weeks.

Mega, mega proud of @nigelboyleofficial for this one - we were lucky enough to binge it all past couple of nights before it was released today. Yes, he's his usual brilliant self, yes, that's his real hair and no, its not dyed. Eejits not got a grey hair on his head!

Must watch of 2026 FOR SO MANY REASONS.

TW: Miscarriage

Firstly the topic. For as long as we can remember miscarriage and infertility were treated as shameful for both sexes. Weve come a long way in recent years and everyone I know who have been through these situations are finding comfort in talking and sharing when theyre ready. Just that feeling of not feeling alone goes a tiny way to soften those heartbreaks. TV has many depictions of one off moments but rarely delves into it like this show will.

Secondly, Stefan Golaszewski. I've been a devout fan ever since watching "Mum". "Him and Her" and "Marriage" are triumphs too. Stefan has that wonderful ability to make you laugh and cry in equal measures whilst staying completely grounded in utter reality. Heart and soul is at the centre of every line and I many other who could make a show like Babies and it be so beautiful.

Thirdly, selfishly my face pops up. See above as to why I delighted to get the call and spend a day on set. Its a blink and miss scenario in Ep 1, but to work with Stefan, plus Siobhan, Paapa and my screen husband Jamie made for a great day at work. Thank you to Jill Trevellick for getting me in!

BABIES starts tonight at 9pm on BBC1.

STOP GATEKEEPING ITS NOT CUTE AND IT GIVES YOU ACNE*

*Not proven at all I just felt like being dramatic but tbh it’s probs true

This week of Off Duty Actors I had the pleasure of interviewing actor and Observatory Studios Owner, Lainy Boyle. You might recognize Lainy from shows like The Good Ship Murder, 3 Body Problem, Casualty, but you might also recognize her bubbly presence if you’re an actor that’s been to an audition at @observatory.studios in SoHo, London.

In this episode Lainy and I discuss casting sessions, owning a business and juggling acting + family life + learning scripts and the massive DO NOT DO THIS list for auditions. We chat commercial castings, swap studio stories, recap her filming in Malta and how releasing expectations can take you on beautiful unexpected journeys. So please enjoy this episode with the lovely Lainy Boyle @lainyboyle 🎬

Didn't really get round to properly posting this when it came out but please do have a listen if you are, or are considering to be, a parent in the creative industries.

@milkandmummiespodcast has some AMAZING people on her podcast and I'm enjoying all the episodes as Im working my way through them. She also randomly asked me on 🤭 @loveraychel was ridiculously easy to talk to, considering we'd just met, and so all the eps flow wonderfully and are full of useful and very relatable info. So get your earphones and go make a cuppa - you might even get to drink whilst its still hot! All eps found via a link in the handle above, link to my ep in my bio for ease.

Happy Friday y'all!
