I was 12 years old when I started building my business- and I haven’t stopped since. You know me, LAITH🫶 and what started with creating escape rooms grew into hosting social club events before evolving into a wedding and event brand serving communities across North Carolina. Today, I get to help bring people’s biggest celebrations to life through event services and rentals while partnering with incredible local small businesses and brands. What drives me isn’t just creating the beautiful experiences but building relationships and serving my community. Not to mention I love leaving every person and every event better than found. “You Think You Have Time.” This is a weapon of mass distraction. A PSA created for my Adobe Premiere Pro Level 2 class exploring phone addiction among teenagers and how easily time disappears into screens. Starring Brooke Coltrane Written, filmed, and edited by Laith Vickers According to Fixit Freak, Gen Z averages 7 hours and 15 minutes per day on their phone. A 2025 report from Time Out suggests people check their phones around 144 times daily. If you were 18 years old, here is how your remaining time breaks down on average: • 1/3 spent sleeping • ~126 months school/career • ~18 months driving • ~36 months eating/cooking • ~27 months hygiene • ~36 months chores/errands → Leaving ~334 months Of that remaining time, an estimated 93% is spent on phones.
