We weren’t sure what to expect, but keeping it 💯 as always… these croquetas were on point and extremely delicious. We had the Croquetas de pollo, chorizo (Frankie’s favorite 😍), spinach and feta and of course the traditional ham. Nick made us a croqueta preparada that was arguably the best on this side of town.

Honestly @depingacafe has croquetas so good it’ll make you question all the croquetas you thought were fire. This place is La Jama certified and officially DEPINGA 💯

One of the BEST mofongos I’ve had in Miami 👀🔥

Shrimp al ajillo over crispy mofongo… but here’s the move — it comes with a caldo de pollo you pour right on top 🤯
Garlicky, savory, rich, and straight comfort food.

And the frituras de bacalao?
Super crunchy, perfectly seasoned, and gone in seconds.

I thought I was coming for one dish… then these two completely stole the show. The coconut curry prawns were rich, creamy, and packed with flavor without being too heavy. But the real surprise? I wasn’t expecting to find a Cuban sandwich this legit in Houston, but Inka Havana absolutely delivered. Real slow-pulled pork, perfectly pressed Cuban bread, melty Swiss, pickles, mustard, and all the classic fixings done right. 🤤

Y’all know I don’t hype spots just because they’re viral… but THIS?! They earned it.

Bacon-wrapped all-beef hot dog loaded with mayo, ketchup, mustard, Parmesan cheese, Hot Cheetos, and onions. Then they hand you a grilled jalapeño on the side like they’re daring you to level up. 🌶️

Finish it with an ice-cold watermelon agua fresca and you’ve got one of the best street food combos I’ve had in Houston.
