There’s so much to discover right here on the Atherton Tablelands. 🌿

A visit to Lake Barrine Tea House is one of those lovely Tablelands experiences that’s perfect for a relaxed day out. Set beside beautiful Lake Barrine, it’s a wonderful spot to slow down, enjoy the rainforest surrounds and make time for a classic Devonshire tea or something delicious from the café.

While you’re there, take a stroll, soak up the views across the crater lake or enjoy one of the scenic lake cruises.

It’s just one of the many beautiful places to explore while staying with us at Malanda Lodge — and a great reminder that some of the best adventures are right on our doorstep.

Come spend a day with us at @lakebarrine 🌿

As a millennial and Mum, I’ve decided to rebel by making the slowest Reel possible. #lifeistoofast

Just a slower, easier-on-the-eyes adventure. Think, the natural day sounds + nature asmr.

We walked the lake circuit, fed the fish and eels 🐟, played in the beautiful gardens, then jumped on the 1pm boat ride around the lake before heading home for the afternoon.

Nothing beats an early morning road trip to a 10,000 year old volcanic crater lake through the amazing Atherton Tabletop mountains, and breakfast in the heart of Australian rainforest 🙌

Lake Barrine has everything to offer that can make the recovery of a marathon simpler - the calm, beauty and amazing food with local produce :) Thank you @lakebarrine for the amazing experience and hospitality ❤️🙏
