Today, we took part in the Terry Fox Run — an event that holds such a special place in our Thunder Bay community and across Canada 🇨🇦

Our team had the privilege of being part of the Colour Guard, carrying the flags and banners to help lead off the run before joining our community in continuing Terry’s incredible legacy of hope, courage and perseverance.

A special thank you to Bill Krezonoski for inviting our team to be part of the Colour Guard each year. Bill has been a longtime supporter of Lakehead Athletics, and we are so grateful that he continues to include us in such a meaningful Thunder Bay tradition! 💙💛 by @lakeheadwbb

From wearing the LU jersey to leading the next generation 💙💛🏀

We love seeing so many former Lakehead Women’s Basketball Alumni back in the Thunderdome this weekend — this time on the sidelines coaching local Thunder Bay high school teams!

A pretty special full-circle moment and a great reminder that the impact of our program goes far beyond the court. Proud to see our alumni continuing to grow the game and give back to basketball in our community. 🫶

Our annual LU High School Basketball Tournament is still going — come catch the action and join us for the FINALS today at 3 PM! 🏆 by @lakeheadwbb
