I’m SO EXCITED to announce that the incredible folks at @sellerspublishing have created a calendar for 2027 with my artwork exclusively! 🤗 . It will be available for shipping on September 7th (less than 2 weeks!). 🗓️ . A HUGE THANK YOU to the gang at Sellers Publishing for finding me and creating this calendar! You guys are amazing and a dream to work with. 🙏🏼 . And if you are a retailer and would like to carry this calendar in your shop, you can request wholesale pricing at www.makefun.com. 🎉 . Took a little time away from here last week to attend my fave event @cropcons 🎉 . Back in 2019 (in the beginning of my lettering journey) I took a chance and attended a creative conference called Crop in Baton Rouge, LA. I knew absolutely no one except 2 of the keynote speakers that I followed here on Instagram (shout out to @homsweethom and @scotty.d.russell ). And it was truly one of the BEST decisions of my life. 🙌🏼 . What I experienced there were approachable creatives who gave a shit about their communities and encouraged new artists like myself to keep creating art. 🎨 . But more importantly, what I truly found at Crop were MY people. Artists of all types who wanted to share their stories and talents with the attendees. Parties where I mingled with folks whose art I admired and then actually befriended. And an annual event that is my favorite week of the year. ♥️ . Since 2019, I was honored to be the emcee in 2023 and a keynote speaker in 2025. And that, my friends, is truly a dream come true. 🤗 . I just got home from Austin, TX and am exhausted from all the late night fun but SO inspired by the incredible community that we have built. 😍 . Giant shout out and big love to my dear friends @staygrayponyboy and @staygrayponygirl for their dedication in putting on this incredible conference and the biggest congratulations on 10 years of Crop! 🤩🎉 . Thank you to the rad keynote speakers this year: @piedmontbrandco @cynlagos @oversettext @bethmathews @homsweethom @joshuanoom @whitneynettles @youngjerks and emcee @howardhall24 🔥 . And to everyone who has attended this year and over the years, THANK YOU for sharing your talents and for being YOU. I fucking LOVE you beyond words. Crop fam forever. 🥰 . Enjoy this manic, selfie-driven video that documents the fever dream that is Crop! I’ll be riding the high for a good while longer. 🔥 . Have the best week y’all! ♥️😘 . . . . . #cropcons #chosenfamily #irreverentinspirations #handlettering #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs

Happy Halloweeeeeeeen weekend y’all! Hope you have a great time celebrating. Be safe out there! 🤗♥️👻 . You know what’s really scary? The direction our country is moving toward. The way we’ve been living these days is chaotic and crazy. Elections are next week my fellow Americans. Make sure you vote! 🗳️ . Happy Friday y’all! 🎃♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
“Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” - Andy Dufresne to Red in Shawshank Redemption . Hope is the belief that something better is possible, even when the path isn’t clear. It is the light in the darkness. The promise of something greater. ♥️ . It’s hard to hope when things seem really bad. But hope is the thing we can focus on. And it’s what can motivate us to do the work we need to do to ensure better things are coming. 🙌🏼 . So please, hold on to hope in whatever situation you are facing. It’s sometimes the only thing we can do when things seem irreparable. And it may just be one of the fucking best things. We need it now more than ever. 🫶🏼 . Hump Day thoughts. Happy Wednesday y’all! ♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
I’m not big on gossip because I’m too busy worrying about my own shit. I don’t have time to worry or care about everyone else’s. 😅 . So when I’m talking about a situation or someone, I’m normally not talking shit. I’m sharing what I know (or at least believe) to be the truth. 🤷🏻‍♀️ . I mean, I get it. If someone hurts us or treats us badly, I understand the desire to talk shit about them. I’m guilty of that. But does it really help? 🫣 . Sure, It might make us feel better. But it’s doesn’t do our world any good. And after a while, it doesn’t make us feel very good either. 😔 The truth matters. So tell the truth. Because then it’s not talking shit. Win! 🙌🏼 . New week thoughts. Happy last Monday of October y’all! ♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
I mean… right?!! 🫣 . So much insanity with these midterms fast approaching and so many dreadful things happening in the world right now. 😩 . And if we have an empathic bone in our bodies, we are feeling it and it’s fucking exhausting. 🫠 . So this is a friendly reminder that this is the goal. For all of us to be SO overwhelmed with all the chaos that we aren’t paying attention to everything else going on behind the scenes. 🙄 . Take some time this weekend to rest and then keep fucking going. Keep fighting the good fight. ➡️💪🏼 . Sending you love, strength and peace. We ALL need it. 🙏🏼🕊️ . Happy Friday y’all! ♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
The easiest way to lose self-worth is by trying to find it through the eyes of someone else.’ 😔 . We are not meant for everyone and that’s 💯 okay. . I’m sure I come off strong and maybe a teeny bit abrasive on occasion, but I think that the people who really know me know I’m a good person with a good heart that means well - even though I swear a lot and don’t really take anyone’s shit. 🤷🏻‍♀️ . If you get that vibe from me, that’s awesome. If not, keep scrolling. It’s not my business to care what others think of me. ☺️ . And I’m certainly not in the business of pleasing everyone for pleasing’s sake. Nope. I fucking drink coffee y’all. 🙌🏼☕️💪🏼 . Self love lesson for today: Don’t link your self worth to the opinion of others. You are YOU and you are fabulous!! 🤗 . Celebrate that today and every single day. 🎉 . Happy Hump Day y’all! ☕️♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
This is the thought I think every time I see what is going on out in the world. Every single day, it seems. 🙄 . I know there is so much going on to distract us from the reality of it all. But we MUST keep focused. We need to keep fighting the good fight. And we can’t stop until we get the job done. 🙌🏼 . So, please keep going and moving forward. Keep supporting those who will help us get back on track. And most importantly, keep your hope alive. 💪🏼 . What kind of fuckery is this? Indeed. 🤯 . Happy Monday y’all! ♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
When will enough be enough? Another school shooting in our country yesterday. That makes 52 in 2026 alone. When will we, as a society, realize this is NOT normal and it can be stopped?! 🥺 . I have so many words but find myself fucking speechless at the horror of it all. These were elementary school children. And a teacher. How can we think this is okay? And more importantly, how can the ‘powers that be’ do NOTHING to stop the carnage?! 🤬 . I agree that thoughts and prayers are much needed but they won’t bring our loved ones back. We need fucking action. 💪🏼 We’re looking at you, lawmakers. Do your fucking jobs or we will certainly vote you out of the way and let more competent, less greedy and power hungry people take your place. 😡 . I can’t even wish you a happy Friday when there are people grieving about the mass shootings from years and months and weeks and days ago because who can fucking keep track anymore?! We do not have to live like this. 😔 . So I wish you peace today. I know I need it badly. ♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
“If you have to burn down your entire world in order to heal, strike all the matches - set it ablaze.” 🔥 . There are those days - if we’re lucky - that we wake up and realize that the lives we are living are not where we want to be. 😳 . The happiness and joy we seek are no longer part of our days. The routine has become just that - a routine - and gone is the spark of excitement or fulfillment. 😩 . When we find ourselves in situations of despair and sadness, sometimes the only way to clear the bullshit and find the light is to fucking burn it all down. 🔥 . Drastic? Perhaps. But when our lives no longer serve our purpose, we MUST take a step back and reevaluate. 🫣 . Maybe burning the whole thing down is a bit dramatic, but taking a look at what parts no longer serve us is imperative to continue on the path of growth and true happiness. 🤗 . So, “Catch on fire if you must, sometimes everything needs to burn to the ground so that we may grow.” - A.J. Lawless . Wednesday thoughts. Happy Hump Day y’all! ♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
This one is for everyone, everywhere, for everything that is happening in their lives and out in the world. ♥️ . We are all individually and collectively going through our very own shit shows on the daily. And this insane timeline isn’t helping any of us. It’s SO much and SO fucking exhausting. 😮‍💨 . So please know I am sending each and every one of you love, support, peace and most of all, light. Because some days, the darkness seems to envelope us and we need that light to find our way out. 🕯️ . And regardless of all the bullshit, please keep fighting the good fight. And make sure to vote. 🗳️♥️💪🏼 . Thanks for being here with me, my sweet friends! 🙏🏼 I SO appreciate you. 🥰 . Happy Monday y’all! ♥️😘 . . . . . #irreverentinspirations #ipadart #handlettering #letteringart #goodvibes by @lakehouse_designs
