Lakeland Community College welcomed more than 150 middle school students for an exciting day of career exploration!

Students from Euclid, Cleveland Heights, Mayfield, Ravenna, and Kirtland schools participated in hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity, build new skills, and explore future career possibilities. Career fields explored included Business, Biology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Healthcare.

Through interactive activities and engaging learning experiences, students had the opportunity to discover new interests and see firsthand how classroom learning connects to real-world careers.

Lakeland Community College hosted a community conversation Wednesday focused on food insecurity, a priority need identified across Lake County. The event, held in partnership with Cleveland Clinic's Mentor Hospital, United Way of Lake County, and the Hunger Coalition, brought together local residents, community members, and individuals with lived experience. Their valuable perspectives and input will help inform future collaborative efforts to improve food access and security throughout Lake County. #LakelandCC by @lakelandcommcol

Lakeland Community College invites families to celebrate the Halloween season at its free Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. The family-friendly event promises a fun-filled evening where attendees can collect candy and goodies from a variety of decorated trunks. These trunks will be hosted by Lakeland departments as well as community partners, including local first responders. by @lakelandcommcol

Hands-On Fire Safety Training! This semester our Medical Assisting students gained invaluable fire safety skills in a hands-on training session led by the Kirtland Fire Department and Lakeland Police! This essential training prepares students to protect themselves, patients, and colleagues in emergency situations, boosting their confidence and readiness for real-world healthcare settings.
