Fun connecting with the team at Brooks Running for their Oct 1st 2024 launch of the Ghost Max. 300 miles into wear testing and I can say confidently that this shoe will be a high recommendation of myself and PTs around the country as well as my favorite Brooks shoe to date.

We would like to welcome Annika Jewett to our PT Aide team at our Alki clinic!

Annika is a Seattle native where she attended Roosevelt High School and obtained her BS
from the University of Idaho. Growing up, sports have been her entire life from little league
baseball to playing club ultimate frisbee in college. Her love for physical therapy developed
when she got injured in high school track and got to be a part of the rehabilitation process
firsthand. In college she immersed herself in a wide variety of subjects including
movement science research, strength and conditioning, and coaching. She is interested in pelvic floor, sport rehabilitation, and dry needling just to name a few. She is taking a gap
year and is excited to be a part of the LWPT team before she goes off to grad school! by @lakewashingtonpt

This past weekend our team broke out our drivers for a 36 team scramble at Echo Falls Country Club hosted by our friends at Pizza Coop. The proceeds from the event went to the Kenzie and Dot Foundation which supports social programs and events in Woodinville. Our 4 Groups did not bring home any hardware this year but the laughs and lost balls was all for a great cause and a fun day.

The proceeds from the event went to the Kenzie and Dot Foundation which supports social programs and events in Woodinville. Our 4 Groups did not bring home any hardware this year but the laughs and lost balls was all for a great cause and a fun day.

Kara Jess will be heading to Regis University in Denver for PT school this Fall. Today is her last day at Alki. She has been at our Alki clinic for 2.5 years and made a strong impression on her teammates and patients. She’s excited to return to the Seattle area upon graduation! We wish her all the best and look forward to supporting her professional journey! Kara marks the 192nd aide or shadow from our group to head to a graduate school program!

Concussion can run the continuum from annoying to devastating. We find the more head injuries that are sustained the less confident athletes become and increasingly protected themselves not for pain, discomfort, or "lack of toughness", but the fact that concussions many times deviate you off the path off of your athletic and even academic goals. 🎉 Happy 1-Year Anniversary to our Lake Washington Physical Therapy – Fauntleroy clinic! 🎉

One year ago, we opened our doors inside The Kenney with a vision of bringing exceptional physical therapy to the Fauntleroy and West Seattle community. Today, we’re celebrating an incredible first year of helping older adults stay active, independent, and doing the things they love.

A huge thank you to Alison Read for her outstanding leadership as Clinic Director. Her passion, expertise, and commitment to every patient have made this clinic an incredible success and a trusted resource within the community.

We’re also excited for what’s ahead! This September, April Cleary will be joining the team, expanding our ability to care for patients with prenatal and postpartum musculoskeletal needs while continuing to provide exceptional orthopedic and geriatric physical therapy.

Matt is at base camp today preparing to summit Mt Baker. His climb is with a team from Atlas Free with a mission of raising money and awareness to put an end to human trafficking. So far their team has raised $24,000 dollars.
