My Topic "Kamadhenu" in Madhubani Art form

Kamadhenu is a divine cow in Hindu mythology often depicted as a white cow with various symbolic attributes, embodying abundance, fertility, and the fulfillment of desires.

**************************************

Grateful to be part of this collaborative tribute to our timeless mythology, and to share space with so many talented artists breathing new life into ancient forms.

Swipe to explore the details, and let me know—have you heard of this creature before? What does it mean to you?

Hello 👋

We are excited to present our artworks on the theme “Doors Around the World” for September 2026.

Entryways and doorways are more than mere physical structures—they are symbols of transition, welcoming energy, cultural heritage, and the threshold between the known and the unknown.

To explore the visual inspiration behind this theme, check out our curated Pinterest board: https://pin.it/2sQHiilLp

About my artwork:

A Doorway to Tradition, Art & Warmth in madhubani art form ✨

A traditional South Indian doorway, where every detail tells a story — from the rich wooden doors and vibrant floral motifs to the sacred lamp, lush greenery, and welcoming kolam. 🌿🪔🌸

Inspired by the timeless beauty of South Indian homes, this piece celebrates the warmth, craftsmanship and traditions found at every beautiful threshold. ❤️

“Every doorway is an invitation — to enter, to belong, and to begin a beautiful story.” 🚪✨

Please support and share the wonderful reveals of our participating artists this month:
