Happy 44th Birthday to me!!

Chapter 43 was a beautiful blend of life’s greatest lessons. It was filled with unforgettable memories, lots of laughter, new adventures, a few tears, sleepless nights, valuable insight, inspiring business connections, health challenges, moments of uncertainty, days filled with sunshine, and nights of pure joy. It seems that it was also a year of intentional spiritual growth and the blessing of connecting with an incredible pastor and leader.

Through every high and every low, God remained at the center of it all. His grace sustained me, His strength carried me, and His faithfulness never failed.

As I close the chapter on 43, I'm still standing, still growing, still believing, and stepping boldly into Chapter 44 with great expectation. The best is yet to come. by @laleeta.patterson

I’m honored to celebrate my husband for being an exceptional father to our boys (men). Thank you for being present, being loyal, showing strength and consistency. Thank you for exhibiting great leadership. Being a man, I’m sure is not an easy task, but you wear the many hats well. We appreciate you💜✊🏽🙌🏾💪🏽 by @laleeta.patterson

Took my mom on a walk down memory lane. A passion she once had was relived and rediscovered. Thanks Christal Brown Heyward for creating a space of love, patience, laughter, and your time. I believe this was the spark to new beginnings. We appreciate you💜.

We are so proud of our boys for the exceptional work that they put in this school year. Brick by brick, and day by day we challenged them, poured into them, and pushed them beyond their comfort zone. Tray’von made A honor roll the entire year, BUCK (best all around) award, and received the AVID (Advancement via individual determination) award. Du’san received A/B honor roll, character/courage award, piano award, and several other awards for his end of the year ceremony.

I’m grateful to have a village of family, friends, and teachers that help made it all possible. Special thanks to Du’san’s teacher Ms. Gilmore and Ms. Rype. These teachers went above and beyond to support, encourage, and push him. Ms. Gilmore, thank you for being hard on him, loving him, and cultivating him. You never accepted less than his best. You made this school year fun, invigorating, educational, and inspiring. As Du’san wrote in his feedback, you are his hero lol.

We appreciate everyone ❤️

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate all educators who pour into the lives of our children each day. Your dedication, compassion, expertise, and commitment do not go unnoticed. Thank you for the invaluable impact you make both inside and outside of the classroom.

I also want to personally acknowledge my husband, David, who exemplifies what it means to be an educator. First and foremost, he leads within our home with confidence, care, structure, accountability, and consistency. I am incredibly grateful to have a husband who values education and continually encourages our boys to do the same.
Thank you for your daily commitment to assisting with homework, checking folders, monitoring grades, and remaining actively involved in their academic growth. I may not express my gratitude often enough, but today I want to intentionally say thank you.

I also want to congratulate you on your recent district recognition for elevating the science department to new heights. As the only science teacher in the building, your hard work, leadership, and dedication have resulted in significant academic growth among your students. Your efforts are impactful, appreciated, and truly making a difference.
You are valued. You are needed. You are making an extraordinary impact.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
