When I first started hosting retreats, I could have never imagined what I would witness…

The friendships that would form, the clarity people would find, and the beautiful changes they would go on to make in their lives.

It’s been such a privilege to create a space where people can step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with themselves, and find a little more of what they’ve been needing.

Three years later, these moments are still my favourite part of it all 🤍 I can’t wait to see what February brings.

It’s not surprising that we sometimes get complacent in our practice. I decided to spice things up today with this single leg in strap series. That bottom leg is working SO hard to stay stable. And the core? It’s fired up the whole time to hold the stability. This one is no joke.

People are always approaching me sharing how they need to spend more time regulating their nervous system, slowing down, and frankly… that they just need a break.

And I get it. Life is full. We’re constantly juggling responsibilities, relationships, work, and a never-ending list of things that need our attention.

But here’s the thing: rest and taking care of ourselves shouldn’t be something we only get around to when everything else is done.

It’s a big part of why I created the Nervous System Reset Retreat.

Seven nights to step away from the noise and give yourself the space to truly slow down. To move your body intentionally, nourish yourself, reconnect with nature, experience new things, and build meaningful connections with people who are craving a little more of the same.

And perhaps most importantly, to take some of that feeling and those practices home with you.

La Línea turns ONE today 🥹🎉

One year ago today, we opened our doors for the very first time - and were so warmly welcomed by the San Miguel community.

Opening a studio had been a dream of mine since I started teaching over a decade ago. For a long time, it felt like a pipe dream. Something I could picture, but that always seemed just a little too far out of reach.

Then I moved to this charming little town in Mexico, and slowly (but very surely), the path to studio ownership started to reveal itself. Without even realizing it at the time, I was building toward the dream I had carried with me for years.

And now somehow, we’ve spent an entire year moving together in our special little treehouse studio 🥹

A whole year of classes, shaky legs, deep breaths, laughter, conversations before and after class, new friendships, familiar faces and so, so much movement.

There hasn’t been a single day that I’ve regretted taking this leap into business ownership. I get to walk into a space I love every day and be surrounded by people I care deeply about. So many of the people who walk through these doors have become like family to me. How cool is that?

There have been hard moments too - especially in recent months - but I’ve never once doubted that this is where I’m meant to be.

And none of it exists without you.

To my dear students: I love you. Thank you for showing up, for trusting me with your bodies and your practice, and for allowing La Línea to become part of your lives.

To my fellow teachers: watching you bring your own care, knowledge and energy into this space makes my heart soar. Thank you for treating my baby with so much love.

And to all of the people who have cheered me on, near and far: thank you for believing in me, in this dream, and in this very special little space.

One whole year of La Línea. 🤍

Something new at La Línea 🤍

Pilates has always been about more than the movement at La Línea. It’s about connection, being present and doing something that makes you feel good. Naturally, creating a way to celebrate here just made sense.

You can now book La Línea for your own private event ✨

Bachelorettes, birthdays, group trips, wedding weekends, or really just an excuse to get your favourite people together.

Your experience can be as simple as a private reformer class with the studio all to yourselves, or we can make it a little extra with balloons, bubbly, grip socks, custom swag and other special touches.

Groups of up to 4 can move together, and larger groups can be accommodated with back-to-back private sessions.
