In about 2 weeks come and join me at @lalinsbk in Brooklyn in sharing some new work for the ancestor season! I will be selling small paintings and sticker packs, cause supporting living artists is a real thing!

You are invited to TEN NINE ANCESTORS

A showing of new works by artist Mincho Vega
Showing for the first time on the east coast, these new works cover a variety of themes, such as migration, Central American folklore, and the honoring of our ancestors.
In addition to the exhibit, there will be a community OFRENDA, an altar to the ancestors. You are invited to bring a special object, a photograph (no originals please) or flowers to be added to the altar.

Lalin’s is a family-owned cafe serving delicious foods and drinks, so come ready to partake in celebration of the arts and ancestors!

Music will be provided by DJs Farbeon and Sam Sellers and Mincho Vega will have several artworks and stickers for sale!

Friday night ❤️

Had such a great time collaborating with my amazing friend @irisrozinsky on our Mexican Jewish food adventure. We put lots of love into this project, and seeing everyone actually there eating, hanging out and enjoying it was the best feeling.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, ate, hung out and made the night what it was. We felt so much love and appreciation.

And a huge thank you to @lalinsbk for being such wonderful hosts and letting us take over your space for the night ❤️ Truly the best neighborhood spot for coffee, drinks, and hanging out! Couldn’t have asked for a better home for this.

Iris and I loved making this together, and we’re feeling very hopeful and excited about what might come next.

We are hopeful for more to come in the near future :)
