LOOK 4: Strong, structured & almost architectural. Form meets freedom. Bright, bold pattern paired with a vaguely boxy structure; all lined with rebellious ruffles. A celebration of culture, spontaneity and creativity. This is how I remind myself that perfection was never the goal. LOOK 3: Soft but Powerful This look was born from instinct letting the fabric speak first and my hands follow. The softness of the pink meeting the bold prints felt like a quiet rebellion, gentle but loud in its own way. LOOK 2: Radiant & Regal This look is a reminder that strength can still be soft. The patterns clash and bloom loud, unapologetic, and deeply rooted in culture. Beauty in the bold! Beauty in Imperfection. A story in black and white. by @lallasucko
LOOK 1: Bold, Movement & Energy I wanted this look to feel like sunlight in motion bold, unplanned, yet perfectly balanced. The clash of colour became a conversation between tradition and freedom. BEAUTY IN IMPERFECTION Beauty in Imperfection is a debut collection rooted in instinct, faith, and creative freedom. Created entirely freehand, without sketches, moodboards, or measurements, the collection embraces the idea that imperfection is not something to be corrected, but something to be celebrated. Each piece was formed through intuition allowing the fabric to guide the process, trusting the movement of my hands. The collection blends West African textiles with modest silhouettes, reflecting both cultural heritage and personal expression. Through colour, form, and spontaneity, Beauty in Imperfection challenges conventional ideas of perfection in fashion, offering a more honest and human approach to design. The result is a raw, unfiltered reflection of my vision, captured in a photoshoot that celebrates the beauty of spontaneity. This collection marks the beginning of my creative journey where faith, identity and process come together to create something raw, meaningful, and alive. This one felt like balance. I wanted to bring structure into chaos. To show that even without planning, you can still find rhythm, power, and peace in the making! There’s something about creating with no rules that feels FREEING & POWERFUL.This piece is loud and fearless! It was a reminder that creativity doesn’t need PERMISSION. Muse @shxrifatx #blackmuslimcreative #modestfashiondesigner #westafricanculture #modestfashion #blackmuslimwomen by @lallasucko
I didn’t plan this look. I just let the colours (blue, yellow, and green) guide me: strength, hope, and growth. Sometimes, the best designs happen when you stop trying to control the outcome. This was one of the first looks I made for Beautiful Chaos. No moodboard, no planning. Just me, my sewing machine, fabric, thread, and Allah guiding every stitch. My Muse @cocoaimssk #fashiondesigner #modestfashion #westafricanculture #blackmuslimcreative #chapterone by @lallasucko
