Motherhood is a wild, messy, and most beautiful ride. 🌟
The days can feel so long, yet the years fly by so fast. Some days I feel like I’m getting it all wrong, but then I look at her, and realize I’m her whole world. She’s only 7 months old, yet she has already changed so much. I’m so proud of every new thing she learns to do every day, but I can’t help missing how tiny she was when she first arrived. We are growing together, one gentle moment at a time.🤍

Looking for an easy, breathtaking hike in Tyrol that you can actually do with a stroller? The trail to Grawandhütte in Zillertal is pure magic! ⛰️
You get stunning Alpine scenery, grazing cows, and a roaring waterfall right behind this gorgeous wooden cabin. 🐄🌾

🥾 TRAIL DETAILS:
• Location: Zillertal, Tyrol (Austria)📍
• Starting point: Gasthof Breitlahner parking
• Destination: Grawandhütte (1,636m)
• Distance: ~9.5 km (round trip)
• Elevation gain: ~380 m
• Duration: ~2.5 to 3 hours (round trip)
• Stroller access: Yes! Wide & smooth gravel road 👶
• Difficulty: Easy / Family-friendly

They say it’s about the journey, not the destination… but when the destination is Baita Sangon, both are pretty hard to beat! 🏔️

We did the hike starting from Daunei (Selva di Val Gardena) up to Baita Sangon, passing by Rifugio Juac along the way.

Here are all the details and practical tips for this hike:
🅿️ Starting Point & Parking: Parcheggio Daunei (Selva di Val Gardena)
⏱️ Time: ~1 hour each way (around 2h total)
📈 Elevation Gain: ~150m

💡 Trail Tips & Advice:
Stroller vs. Baby Carrier: The trail is completely safe, but it’s quite steep uphill with uneven ground and rocks. We managed with our trekking stroller, but a baby carrier is definitely the more comfortable option! 👶🏼🎒
Important Route Note: Once you reach the first hut (Rifugio Juac), keep to the right along the main, longer path (which turns more into a grassy trail here). Avoid the shortcut on the left—it’s way too steep, especially with little ones! ⚠

❄️ Winter News: Baita Sangon will reopen for the winter season starting December 4th! 🏔️☕️

An easy, stroller-friendly autumn hike in the heart of the Dolomites! 🍂⛰️

If you’re looking for a simple, scenic, and family-friendly trail, the hike from Passo delle Erbe to Malga Fornella (Ütia Munt de Fornella) is a total gem.

📍 TRAIL INFO AT A GLANCE:
• Starting point: Passo delle Erbe (2,000m)
• Destination: Malga Fornella (2,067m)
• Opening period: Open until October 11th 🗓️
• Duration: ~20–30 minutes (one way)
• Difficulty: Easy / Mostly flat
• Stroller friendly: Yes! Wide gravel trail, perfect for all-terrain strollers

✨ WHY WE LOVED IT:
Walking right under the Sass de Putia wall is incredible. Once you reach the hut, you’ll find:
• Delicious, traditional South Tyrolean comfort food 🍳
• A wooden playground that the little ones will love 🎠
• Breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks 📸

💡 BONUS TIP:
You can actually continue a bit further past Malga Fornella along the Sass de Putia loop with a stroller for more incredible views! However, shortly after, the path gets steeper and rougher—making the rest of the full loop unsuitable for strollers or very small kids.
