Some new bowls from Spring ‘25 semester! I’ve been very pleased with the reduction firing, the results are still a surprise sometimes but a happy one.

And stone fruit season is upon us! 🍒

Bowls with a curved rim. I glazed these in tenmoku for reduction firing. Some of the bowls show metallic red specks others are glossy black. Each reduction firing is unique!

Set of bowls in what I’m calling “avocado green” or “olive green”. I didn’t expect the glaze to turn so bright green in reduction since the previous firing was more neutral. But I like it. The joys of pottery 😄
