For a long time, I didn't realize how much I was pushing through💪🏾

I kept going without giving myself the time to truly pause, rest, or take care of myself🫣

I was running on empty!

I thought I was just tired, but eventually I reached a point where I really wasn't feeling well. It wasn't until I experienced burnout that I began to understand how much it was affecting me🤯

That experience also made me more curious about the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and the body, and how much we can overlook when we're caught up in everyday life🫠

That's when I started noticing things in my own daily life that I hadn't been paying attention to

Some of them are in this carousel

🤍 Feeling guilty when resting
🌿 Being so busy that you forget to check in with yourself

Yesterday, walking along the Rio Tejo🩵 for the 100th time 😂🌊

I love going for walks, taking my time, and wandering around. I've done this walk so many times, and there's always something new, fun or beautiful that catches my eye☺️🤩

Maybe it's my terrible sense of direction🙈🙊, but every walk still feels like a little adventure🤘🏽👣

So I thought… why not start sharing more of what I see along the way? ✨🩵

Life got loud for a little while!

With everything happening in Venezuela, it had been a difficult few days for me❤️‍🩹

And then, somehow, this tiny little bird showed up🥹🥰

I called him Marcelo Andrés🤭🩵

I'm still not sure who found whom

For a few days, caring for this tiny, fragile, endlessly hungry creature gave me something small and right in front of me to hold onto

As he got stronger, he gave me a little bit of hope too💫

I thought I was the one taking care of him

I'm still not sure who was taking care of whom🥹

Thank you for letting me care for you, even if only for a little while 🤍

P.S. A few days later, I took Marcelo Andrés to a wildlife reserve, where he could get the care he needed🙏🏽🫰🏽
