POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The ending of 2025 into 2026 has been the most challenging months for me in my life. My fathers transition in February was the icing on the cake. In my world everything felt like it was going completely wrong… EVERYTHING. A spiral of negative emotions followed by a slew of what if scenarios. I realized quickly this was not the way to grieve. Instead I turned to music. Por La Famila is dedicated to my family and most importantly my father. This project honors his life and his love for good music. I took seven of his favorite songs and recreated them in my own way, this brought back positive childhood memories. Thank you to all my friends and family that constantly checked up on me during this time. Happy heavenly birthday dad! He would’ve been 74 today. “Now You Know” is available now at all streaming stores. Be on the look out for Por La Familia dropping in a few days! taken in Chicago, Illinois by @lamar_farr
