There is something special that happens every time someone steps in front of the camera, but something special also happens to the photographer! Last week I had a chance to share that special moment with150+ Black professionals working in tech, media, sports, and finance. Last week, @bergcollective invited @3ecreativearts to their rooftop mixer to provide live headshots throughout the night.

If you never remember anything that I say, please remember this: My photography is about archiving history and telling our truth. I've been to several protests and they've all been peaceful. Please don't believe everything you see on mass media channels.
This message is NOT Black people vs. White people. This is a message to break up and destroy systematic racism that continues to ruin/eliminate the lives of Black, Brown, Poor, LGBTQ, and any other disenfranchised communities. THE SYSTEM DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU!

Peace and Stay safe family!✊🏾 by @lamar_tm

I was granted this opportunity and because of that I want to give away some opportunities. So, tomorrow at #culturecon if you see me, say hi and that's all you need to create on the spot content or discuss future bookings. I'm leaving with cameras in hand and I promise you, I am coming back with something. Peace.

Let today serve as a reminder for some that you were built to thrive not just survive. Let today serve as a reminder that "roses" are meant to be enjoyed by the living, not just buried with the dead. Let today serve as a reminder that everyone has a story to tell, so keep writing. Let today serve as a reminder that pain is temporary and sometimes you have to push through it, to get to it. Let today serve as a wake up call to newcomers that we are one unified people and this month highlights the accolades but remembers the atrocities.

Happy Black History Month from 3E Creative Arts.

From opening night to the final bow, our cast gave everything to bring “Dinner with the Youngers” to life.

Each performance was its own kind of magic, built from months of dedication and a deep love for the story we’re telling.

To our incredible cast: thank you for helping us tell a story that heals!

We had a time! Thank you to good friends who really know how to have fun! I can say so much about this weekend, but I'll keep it short. It was a great way to connect, make new friends, and feel like a King in a castle.lol🌽 #tbt by @lamar_tm

A lion has left the room.

Rest easy, Congressman Charles Rangel — a fierce fighter, a sharp wit, and a heart that never stopped beating for Harlem and the people. Your laugh, your legacy, and your love for justice will echo through generations. Thank you for the walk, the talk, and the truth. 🕊️🖤 by @lamar_tm

I have a lot to share, but #tbh, I'm not great with keeping up with trends....so all I want to say is thank you. Thank you to my village, my family, my friends, and my obstacles. All of you keep me here, keep me pushing. I hope this post reaches all you despite my algorithm.

Moving into 2025, I'm going to be more vulnerable and more consistent.

It was a life-changing experience being able to visit Green Haven Correctional Facility and watch these men take the stage and transform everything you previously thought about them. @rta_arts continues to do an absolutely incredible job of using art as a conduit of change, and I am overjoyed to have produced this version of Thoughts of a Colored Man. Playwright and creator @keenanthemuse created a phenomenal play that allows the audience to take a peek into the thoughts of a Black man in America.

This was the longest project to shoot and edit, and I am so proud of the final product, but nothing meant more to me than going back to Greenhaven and watching it with the men. Watching them see themselves on screen was transformative. I would love for you to experience the work RTA is doing and visit their website to learn more. by @lamar_tm
