2026 Victoria's strongest man
A tough battle for points the entire two day comp which saw me walk away as the 6th strongest u105kg in the state.
I had one goal and one ambition. The goal of beating my placing from last year which I'm proud to saw i did. My ambition was a top 5 placing which I just missed out on. But it was a fierce competitive field the entire weekend.

Events:
Yoke
- 360kg for 14m. 6th

Trump log
- 130kg for 1 rep. 🥉

Sandbag to shoulder
- 130kg. 🥈

Frame carry
- 260kg in 10.7s. 🥉

Trump deadlift
- 230kg for 1 rep. 6th

Sandbag steeplechase
- 120kg. 2 bags in 20.2s. 6th

Few event highlights from the prep for Vic's. Usually my preps for comp are up and down. But this has been the most consistent build up to a peak I've ever had. I'm feeling strong, I'm feeling fast and I'm feeling ready! taken in ZeroW South East Melbourne by @lambe.strong

LDS comparison from 2024 to 2026
Back in 2024 that was the first time I'd ever lifted a 140kg stone. Now in 2026 a 150kg stone is starting to feel easy. Had some bad luck with my third attempt on a 160kg stone but I know it's there next time.
2024 - 140kg
2026 - 150kg
Really helps training these in a great facility like @zerow_se_melbourne. by @lambe.strong

LDS comparison from 2024 to 2026
Deadlifts have been stuck for over a year. Felt amazing to finally pull a new PB on a third attempt.
In 2024 I attempted a 270kg deadlift that was glued to the floor. Only took two years to get it moving!
2024 - 255kg
2026 - 275kg (first 600lbs pull)

LDS comparison from 2024 to 2026
Two years difference. Both second attempts with a missed third attempt. One was a struggle and one flew up like nothing. Take a guess which that was.
2024 - 115kg
2026 - 122.5kg

LDS 2026.
My goal was simple. Beat my best from my last showing at LDS 2024. And that's exactly what I did!

Finished with a total of 547.5kg beating my old total by 37.5kg and getting a PB deadlift and a near miss off a log PB.

Log: 115kg✅️, 122.5kg✅️, 130kg❌️
Deadlift: 255kg✅️, 265kg✅️, 275kg✅️
Stone: 140kg✅️, 150kg✅️, 160kg❌️

Congrats to all the u105 class, we put on a good show for the crowd!

Naturally Aspirated 2026 events footage.
I came into this comp with the goal of getting in the top 5. I couldn't be happier or more proud of walking away in a tied 3rd position!

Few mistakes on the day. Fumbled the sandball carry, took an unscheduled tumble during the max axle, battled several cramps within the last events.

Another massive thank you for the greatest support network I could ask for @coach_charles_cini, @megan_tiffany5

Naturally aspirated 2026. Few key pictures from the day, will post some comp videos later.
First time competing in the league. Prep was tough but I was going into comp well prepared.

Event 1: Sandball into farmers carry. Couldn't get a proper grip on the bag and kept slipping. Last place

Event 2: Max axle. Worked damn hard on this, was so close to getting the 130kg locked out but still managed to take 2nd place with 127.5kg

Event 3: Sandball over bar. Managed all 3 bags after an absolute grind of a pick up on the 140kg. Took 4th place

Event 4: Deadlift accumulation. Plan was to score points on the lighter bar. Still managed 7 reps with the 225kg giving me 3rd place.

Event 5: Duck walk to power stairs into log press. This was a killer. Managed a tied 1st place.

Overall, I finished up in tied 3rd place which dropped back to 4th on count back. This was a way better placing than I was expecting. I couldn't be more proud of the result.

All this couldn't have happened without the support and guidance of @coach_charles_cini and the team at @transcend_strength_fitness_
But most of all, my best cheerleader, best supporter and the greatest wife I could ever ask for @megan_tiffany5. Thank you for everything you do for me!

I used to never show the back of my camera, because let’s be real, it’s unedited and I want you to see it when it’s finished.

But now it’s honestly one of my favourite parts of the day 🥹

Turning the camera around and watching it click for you… that little “wait omg, that’s us?!” moment. The instant confidence boost, the excitement, the hype between you two.

You get this sneak peek right in the moment, and you can actually see yourselves the way I see you.

Plus the banter that comes with it is always 10/10 👌🏼😅.
