Ever wandered how Lambeth got its name? 🐑🐑🐑 The Mayor of Lambeth tells us how, why and when!

The name Lambeth derives from the Old English for ‘landing place for lambs’ and appears in records as far back at 1062!!

I think our Lambeth Fringe mascot Larry the Lamb just got promoted…

This conversation with @ratgurl_theatre stayed with us for some time after they left the studio. This play feels like the bruise you can’t help but poke. A bit of a sore spot in modern culture, that this fearless company is tackling head-on.

Lambeth Fringe listing says:
“Dead jobs. Dead hopes. An undercurrent of dreams and violence undercuts Fagbreaks in a South Bermondsey trading estate.

Three young men and one girl argue, laugh and fight during a day where nothing happens and everything changes.”

If you wanna hear a snippet of this show before it opens at @goldengoosetheatre on the 18th October 2026, then eyes and ears this way for the dedicated episode, coming soon. 🎧 🎭 Subscribe at 🔗 in bio.

We’ve got 9 episodes coming out post haste for you to take a peek at. Interviews and extracts - ALL being presented @lambethfringe across South London this September/October.

Subscribe so you don’t miss ‘em.

We did it!! We phucking did it!!!

A small and perfectly formed audience! Filled with love and smiles and people sharing the roller coaster of the Phuckets and the Rainbows with me!!

As we journeyed towards the mole rat of dreams… and the idea, that maybe, we are, good enough! Even if we are a bit shit!!

Thank you to everyone in the room!!! Do let me know how it was… and if you loved it, please do, let your world know!!

I am so grateful for you all!!!

All love
