Some textured trays in progress. #potteryinspiration #clay #workinprogress #handcarving #tray by @lambpots

For our 10 Year anniversary, we set out to create a series of short films that celebrate some of Artshack's amazing teachers.
Each film is an intimate portrait of our subject's history at Artshack.
Here we have captured their relationship to the space, the essence of their practice, and their approach to teaching. Starring the one and only, Ivan Samuels @lambpots, @c4rlani

A set of trays inspired by sushi can function beyond the culinary experience. Thank you for your support @roxburyrisa and enjoy your @lambpots handmade trays within your home decor. #claytray #potteryofinstagram #weekendsales #ceramics #handcraftedwithlove by @lambpots

It was such an amazing weekend @roxburyopenstudios in Boston this past weekend. I am always grateful for the love and the appreciation for my ceramic vessels. It was great to meet and talk to mixed media artisan, RobynMarie. She was so happy to snag this @lambpots nesting vase form during the finale of the event. Which will be used to store her paint brushes for her canvas artwork. It was a great time! #pottery #bostonsofinstagram #openstudio #clay #ceramics by @lambpots

A few mugs are out of the kiln! I really love how they fired. The mustard flavored glaze over the speckled brown clay body,👍🏿 👍🏿. #pottery #mugs #potterygifts #roxburyopenstudios #ceramics by @lambpots

I wedged some standard porcelain and dark brown stoneware clay together this afternoon. This is my result when you only have some scraps of clay bodies on your studio shelf. The rubber kidney is magical for the marbling effect on this cylindar. #neriage #pottery #wheelthrownpottery #clayoftheday #clay by @lambpots

Two freshly pruned tomatoes from my cherry tomatoe tree. A green teapot on the surface of a slate rock. The functional pedestal bowl host some mini ripe bananas. On a Saturday afternoon. #teapot #ceramics #handcrafted #functionalpottery

Hello and happy Saturday IG! My name is Ivan Samuels. I am a potter and ceramics teaching artist. Thank you to all of my followers and non followers for taking the time. To view and receive my friendly introduction on this summery day. While I am in the act of throwing this clay cylindar with some true love for clay vessels. #pottery #workinprogressart #potteryoftheday #handthrown #clay by @lambpots

A late Friday night in the studio. I just finished cleaning up some work in progress. While finding the peace and quiet time I need to explore need ideas within the forms. #pottery #clay #studiolife #handmademadewithlove #newclay by @lambpots

This mornings horticulture chore was to repot. My new and first Bromeliad plant into my gloss black planter with surface carving. I think they host each other quite well and are a nice match. #pottery #springplanting #handcarving #ceramics #clayart by @lambpots
