Wise words from our Impossible mile fastest time @thecochlearkid 26.40 , what an amazing effort from an amazing young man.

We gathered for our first charity event to raise money for a dear friend battling cancer, but we must say it was such a blessing to meet so many people willing to labour for those in need. Especially having so many people there not because we knew them but for the cause.

FIRST CHARITY EVENT ❗️

This was such an amazing event. We are so thankful for everyone who was apart of this first project.

There are so many people that weren’t mentioned that were such a main driver to making this possible.

Our mission is to help people in need by running events as a community to raise funds and awareness to the nominated person. Once we hit our target we will reach out to the community to help us find the next person in need and start the process again.

This has been something on our heart that we feel is long overdue and we are just overwhelmed by the love and support from everyone.

We will be running our next event soon, if anyone wants to get involved in anyway please reach out, God bless always.

IMPOSSIBLE MILE with a community fighting IMPOSSIBLE ODDS

What a community, with a week notice our community showed up and showed out to raise money for those fighting cancer at our first CHARITY fundraiser. Although this isn’t an event all about people living with a disability we just wanted to highlight those living with a disability and choosing to fight regardless of their circumstances, to fight alongside their people.

For too long, disability has been viewed through the lens of limitation.

But disability does not remove your ability to lead.

It does not remove your ability to serve.

And it certainly does not remove your ability to fight for the people and causes that matter.

People living with disabilities are not on the sidelines of society.

They are raising families.Building businesses.Leading communities.Creating change.Supporting others through some of life’s hardest moments.

The path may look different.

The tools may look different.

The challenges may look different.

But the value remains the same.

This community belongs to all of us.

And every one of us has a role to play in making it stronger.

Whether you walk, roll, wear a prosthetic, live with chronic illness, or face challenges others can’t see...

Your voice matters.

Your contribution matters.

Your fight matters.

Because impact is not determined by ability.

It’s determined by the willingness to show up, serve others, and keep moving forward.

The fight may look different.

But we’re fighting together. ❤️

OUR FIRST CHARITY EVENT !

The World’s Impossible Mile hosted by LAMBR and DARE2ADAPT

Friday night, over 200 people gathered for something much bigger than a fitness event.

We came together to stand with people fighting cancer.

Some ran.
Some walked.
Some rolled.
Some simply showed up.

But every single person became part of something powerful.

The Impossible Mile represents the battles people face every day that no one else sees.

For someone fighting cancer, the impossible might be getting through treatment.

For a family, it might be holding onto hope.

For a survivor, it might be learning how to live again.

This event reminded us that impossible doesn’t mean impossible forever.

When a community comes together, burdens become lighter, hope becomes stronger, and lives can be changed.

This was the first of many charity events that LAMBR will host to support individuals and families facing life’s toughest battles.

We will be selecting a person in need of help, hosting these events and raising funds and awareness for nominated person until we hit our target and then we will swap them out for another person or family in need. From cancer treatment to medical aids to living with a disability or facing homelessness.

Let all things be done with CHARITY !

This was December 2025 our first run through the impossible mile.

It started as we started a fundraiser project to fund 5 adaptive athletes to compete in Hyrox, cover flights, accommodation and all other expenses.

During the end of the project I realised what we were doing was very dear to my heart but also there were so many out there in need of help.

The seed was planted and has been growing and cultivated into our first official Charity event to fight for those who don’t have a village and community behind them.

God has given us many gifts, and gifts are to give. I hope we are able to help in any way for the vulnerable and in need.

Back in December, we held our first fundraiser. At the end of the project, we competed the impossible mile as a group to raise money to take 5 adaptive athletes to compete in Melbourne hyrox. This was to cover their flights, accomodation, tickets etc.

In pursuit of this, we raised $12,000 in 3 weeks! Myself not having experience in this space, I was over the moon as this project is such a big move in the right direction. Helping rebuild the framework and foundation for people living with a disability.

A project that helped people get their spark back, build confidence and spreads the awareness. Not only this but that you can have such an amazing life if you fight for it and never settle for less.

In saying that, as I looked at our gofundme page and saw other charity pages, which included kids fighting cancer, sick mothers, people in need of medical aids etc, one word to describe how I was feeling. BITTERSWEET.

As much as I appreciated our fight, it brought me back to the beginning of my journey of losing my leg to BONE CANCER ! My heart cried out for those still in the fight and I felt so convicted and burdened. I want wanted to fight for those still in the battle. Just because I’m not in the storm doesn’t mean the fight isn’t happening.

We have now started LAMBR CHARITY FOUNDATION in hopes of giving back to those still fighting.

Please come down and help fight alongside us as a community and for those still in the battle. May we suffer and sacrifice for those in need.

We will be doing the impossible mile challenge!! There will be food,drinks and merchandise on sale to also help raise funds. Also there is a 20$ fee to participate in the workout, keep in mind if you want to donate more that’s totally up to you.
