Your guide for becoming a public transit princess in LA 👑🚈

I know LA is a car city, but hear me out, you can actually get around pretty well without one! I have a car and still choose @metrolosangeles whenever I can! Especially when parking is $$$, traffic is terrible, or I just want to get my steps in 🤪

If you’ve been intimidated by LA public transit or simply don’t know where to start, I got you!

Save this for your next LA adventure 🚏 taken in Los Angeles, California by @lametromami

Still reminiscing on our first MacArthur Park cleanup 💚🌳

Should we do another one before the year ends?! If you’d love to partner on another cleanup, send us a message! Let’s keep showing up for MacArthur Park.

We invest millions in Clean Teams keeping MacArthur Park clean every single day, and this month, our neighbors showed up too. 🧹🌳💚 We teamed up with @lametromami, @honduransinla and @hikeandhangla for a community cleanup, with local middle schoolers jumping in and showing us how it’s done. 🫡

It takes a village to make change. We’re so proud of our Westlake/MacArthur Park family! Thanks to all our amazing partners and volunteers for pitching in! by @lametromami

MacArthur Park is beautiful, neighbors and folks visiting the neighborhood also deserve a clean, welcoming open space 🌳✨

After @lilbieber recent pop up here, we want to continue to shine a light on the community and the work happening to care for this park. @lametromami recently hosted our first cleanup with @cd1losangeles and community partners @honduransinla @hikeandhangla , and we’re ready for the next one!

We’d love to connect with Justin Bieber & his team to help support our next cleanup.

Tag him below and let’s make it happen!🫶🏼💕🌳💚

This weekend, we teamed up with @lametromami, @honduransinla and @hikeandhangla for a femme-led community cleanup at MacArthur Park! To our delight, we were even joined by a whole group of young Westlake scholars from @rise_kohyang_ms. We kicked off the morning with some light stretching and then got to work giving the park some extra love. 🧹🌳

Our office invests millions in keeping MacArthur Park clean and cared for, including multiple clean teams working around the clock. But taking care of our public spaces also means building community, taking ownership of the places we share, and showing up for our neighborhood and each other. Because the people who actually love MacArthur Park don’t just talk about it. We show up for it. 💚 Thank you, Westlake! The park looks beautiful! 🤩
