I guess it’s passed time to introduce Mortimer and Mizuki. (Morty and Tzuki for short). These are my two new babies. They are not fosters. Morty came from a Rez and Tzuki came from @cvasanctuary. With Noelle’s health declining more and more I decided it was time to start the process of having an emotional extra for J.J.. These two fit in like they’ve lived with us all these years. Time for adoptions!
Cordelia is ready to go to her forever home. She is the bigger of the two in the pictures.
She is a highly active, very smart and sassy 12wk old puppy. She will be an excellent agility partner, working shepherd dog or training companion. She has energy to burn but is also able to self-calm.
She is an insane mix of dogs and you can peep the mix in th pics.
I am only entertaining serious inquiries and there will be a thorough adoption contract.

Two days ago, I found a zipped up soft sided kennel of 7 8WK old puppies on my street by my neighbors house. It was 8am, 27 degrees and they were just there on the side of the road. They were wet with urine all over, cold and crying. They are now safe, clean, and getting fat and happy. I have a DNA test out to see what exactly they are because we have some pretty interesting differences in color, coat and length of coat. Everyone is being fostered and we will be adopting them out soon enough. #dogsofinstagram #spokanedogs #rescue #rescueofinstagram by @lamor189

Hi everyone! This is Jax, located in Spokane, Wa. He is a 15 months old male GSD. He has a wonderful loving personality. His current owners are looking to rehome as life circumstances have changed due to a medical issue which has made it difficult to give Jax the time and activity he needs to thrive. He is very active and needs someone to give him the appropriate amount of stimulation and play. He LOVES to have a human companion, loves to play, and loves to cuddle. He is curious about other dogs but has not had an opportunity to meet one in a controlled environment. He currently lives with 3 special needs kids and loves to try to play with the older ones, and literally shepherd and protect the youngest one.
He does not do well with negative reinforcement but responds almost immediately to positive reinforcement and has a desire to be the best boy he can be in exchange for love and validation. Please message me or comment under this post to inquire. by @lamor189

@therealpaulmueller we are having issues in our town with the alleged no kill shelter called SCRAPS. Obviously, no-kill doesn’t mean exactly what it should mean. But their website has a deliberate link that jumps to a separate page by the animal humane society describing what no-kill means. It’s misleading as they are not expressly stating they are no kill but have the link on their page insinuating it. Pictures attached of their website and the page it links to.
Here are just three of the dogs recently euthanized under alleged normal protocol. There’s been alleged reports of being euthanized within hours of being brought to the shelter with a rescue lined up for adoption. Multiple volunteers are speaking out about the alleged fabrication of aggressive behavior from dogs who have been handled repeatedly very easily by said volunteers only to have those dogs euthanized. Cats are also routinely euthanized with a local cat named Duey being taken to SCRAPS and euthanized as the family was on their way to pick him up. They’re even euthanizing dogs and cats they have on their website up for adoption with no accountability as to why. THIS HAS TO STOP.

There are MANY reasons a euthanasia may be warranted. Terminal illnesss, significant unchangeable aggression due to breeding or otherwise, etc..
But it’s concerning the amount of dogs they are euthanizing so quickly after intake for seemingly falsely telling the community they are no-kill.

To my friends and neighbors in this city. If you care about what’s happening and want to do more, send me a message or a text. I am in the beginning stages of starting a community group to look into the legality of what’s happening and what regulations may need to change if there are none in place. I have a plan that will start at the county level and move up to the state level in order to bring legislation on not only this practice of killing for convenience and cost, but also owners dumping, breeders over breeding and dumping, and animal cruelty. Please take a stand with me to help these innocent creatures. WE ARE THE PROBLEM. by @lamor189
