Hand-blown glass. A metal shade suspended within. Light passes through and softens — not by accident, but by design.

Tuppa 30, 300mm. Clear or milk opal glass paired with spun brass or brushed stainless.

One up. Three down.

Uplighting, downlighting, or both — the Brumbry never told you what to do.

Massoni trusted the person in the room.

Four bulbs. One up, three down.
Uplighting, downlighting, or everything at once — the choice was always yours.

Massoni understood that a good lamp is also a decision.
Brumbry, Harvey Guzzini, 1969.

The mantle is the shade. The mantle is the base. One glassblower. One motion.

Smoke grey. Olive green. Opaline. Transparent. The same pure form, a different atmosphere each time. A dimmer built in, a single blown-glass piece that is both base and shade. Beauty in the decision to stop adding.

Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni looked at a street lamp and asked why it couldn’t live inside.

Arco, 1962. A Carrara marble block, a sweeping stainless steel arc, and a simple answer to ceiling-free illumination.Drilled with a hole sized for a broom handle, so two people could carry it.

The concept hasn’t aged because it was never decorative — it was logical.

Cast cotton. Hand-formed, then painted surface by surface.
Each frond shaped once — never the same way twice.

Taraxacum is the botanical name for dandelion.

Castiglioni, 1988. Twenty pressed aluminum triangles assembled into a near-perfect sphere, each face holding three exposed bulbs.

The geometry does the work. The name explains the result.

Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni named it after a cartoon dog.

Snoopy, 1967. A lacquered metal shade, a solid Carrara marble base, and an irony that never tips into kitsch.

Practically unchanged in nearly sixty years — which says everything about the quality of the original idea.

Designed by Jon Olafsson and Petur Luthersson for Fog & Mørup in the 1960s.
The Hekla works through repetition — each aluminum slat directing light downward, diffusing it evenly.
Form as a consequence of function.

Flat horizons. Rice fields. A bird mid-flight.
@antoniarola_ translated the Ebro Delta into suspended discs of light — and somehow it works.

Flamingo is the quiet kind of presence that changes a room without trying.
