Progress doesn’t have to be perfect to count.

Some days I write 2,700 words.
Some days I edit.
Some days I delete words.
Some days I write… absolutely nothing.

Every one of those days still moves the book forward.

If you’re working on your novel, stop comparing today’s word count to someone else’s highlight reel. The only writer you need to outwrite is yesterday’s version of yourself.

There’s a difference between writing that follows the rules… and writing that comes from years of practice.

Imagine spending years learning grammar.
Studying story structure.
Reading hundreds of books.
Writing draft after draft.
Finding your voice.

Good writing existed long before AI.
