Hi, I’m Lana! I finally decided to create a dedicated space for my latest reads, honest reviews, and the occasional TBR mountain. ⛰️📖

My reading vibe in a nutshell:
• Thrillers: Give me a plot twist that keeps me up until 2 AM. 👀
• Romance: I love anything that pulls at the heartstrings (TJR and CoHo are my weaknesses). ❤️‍🩹

A few fun facts about me:
• 📍 Reading from Canada, which means I’m usually wrapped in a blanket 8 months of the year. ❄️
• ☕️ Running on 90% coffee and 10% "just one more chapter."
• 📱 I’m a total Libby devotee! If I’m not holding a physical book, I’m glued to my tablet (bless our local libraries).
• 🕵️‍♀️ I’m the person who tries to guess the "killer" by page 50... and I’m usually wrong, which makes it even better!

I can’t wait to connect with more readers and find new favorites!

Which book in my photo is your favorite? Or, if you’re a thriller lover, what’s the last book that actually shocked you? 👇

Lucy and Felix share a single unforgettable night together, completely complicating things since Felix just happens to be her best friend's brother... She vows to stay away, but years later, they keep crossing paths.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was such a fun read for summer, and honestly, I love anything that Carley Fortune writes. I especially loved Felix and Lucy's dynamic and the whole tension between them😍👀

Have you read any Carley Fortune books yet, or which one is your favorite?

My reading order for this stack is officially locked in and I am way too excited about every single one of these👀

Starting off strong with Broken Country because I am always ready to be emotionally wrecked by a second-chance romance. Then I'm moving right into Our Perfect Storm for those cozy coastal vibes, diving into Phoebe Berman's Gonna Lose It for some laughs, and finishing up with The Divorce when I'm ready for a wild, messy thriller that Freida is sure to bring me!!

Have you read any of these yet, or what are you currently diving into?? Let me know in the comments 💕

Basically, it’s about a woman named Jane who gets pulled into this really dark, messy situation involving a missing teenager and a super creepy house. It’s definitely more of a slow-burn mystery than a fast paced thriller... think "buried secrets" and "family trauma" vibes rather than non-stop action.

Honestly though? I’m kind of torn on this one. It started off a bit slow for me, but the middle part finally hooked me. And the ending was a bit of a letdown for me, some things were answered, but it felt like so much was left hanging idk . Also, I really struggled to like any of the characters (except maybe Jane). If you’re going into this looking for a bunch of crazy plot twists, you’ll probably be disappointed. It’s more just... weird and creepy. With that being said it was just an "okay" read for me.

Do you prefer fast-paced thrillers or these slower, creepier, atmospheric stories?

If you’ve ever wondered what it was like training for the 1980s NASA space program, you need to pick up Atmosphere. It follows Joan, a physics professor who gets thrown into the high stakes world of space training. It’s all about the unexpected bonds she forms and a love story that totally changes her perspective on everything 🚀

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge TJR fan, and I absolutely loved this one. I’d heard a few people say I might cry, and let me tell you the tears were definitely flowing. What a beautiful story. Wow.

Has anyone else read this yet?

The story follows three women in a "perfect" neighborhood, but as you can probably guess, things are anything but perfect behind those closed doors. It’s a twisty, fast-paced domestic thriller where everyone seems to be hiding something. This was my first time reading anything by Seraphina Nova Glass and I absolutely loved her writing style.

Have you read anything by her yet, or do you have a go-to thriller that kept you gasping!???

I went into Fever Dream with high expectations because everyone kept telling me how good it was. This was my first time reading an Elsie Silver book, and I am now a certified member of the fan club, I love her writing and I need to read more!!! I completely ate this one up from start to finish.

Small-town vibes, a chaotic reality show set, and a hero who goes all in? Say less. This book had the perfect balance of banter, chemistry, and heart. I'm obsessed and sad that I have to wait to be able to see where the second book takes us 👀

Any other Elsie Silver recommendations???

The chemistry, the banter, the enemies to lovers trope!!! I absolutely loved the dynamic between Alice and Hayden. They start off as professional rivals competing for the same opportunity, so the friction between them is just so good..With that being said, this book is so much more than just a typical romance. Emily Henry is so good at writing about how messy and real, life actually is, and the way she weaves in Margaret Ives’s mysterious story just makes it feel even more authentic. This book isn't just about two people finding each other, it's also about the ways we come to find the versions of ourselves that we are meant to be. If you're looking for a book that produces not only a cute love story but emotional depth this is the one for you!

Have you read this one yet or is it still sitting in your tbr ?(if it is still in the tbr; What are you doing bestie!? Come on and read it already)

I thought Silver Elite was wild, but Broken Dove completely captivated me in the best way possible! I was literally turning pages like a madman just to see what would happen next, and then… THAT CLIFFHANGER.

If you need me, I’ll be staring at the wall trying to process that ending.... If you haven't started this series yet, consider this your sign to start immediately. 5/5 stars, no notes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What is the 1 thing that makes a book impossible for you to put down?
