sometimes your performance isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. there will always be someone in the audience who does appreciate the performance and understands the hard work that has gone into “putting it together;)” this is always a hard lesson to learn and to put into practice when you receive criticism or look at a number you didn’t think that you deserved.
no matter the score or any of the other challenges faced, i am so proud of the people who helped put this large group together and dedicated their time (even when there wasn’t much given lol). we may have had a little hiccup before having to perform but we got to go up there and do the thing! you all showed your talent, strength, and adaptability in how you shook it off and did a kick ass job.
thank you all for trusting my silly ideas and for being up there with me🫶

this was another insane experience at states. performing at the beautiful tampa theatre in a show with such an important message was an amazing opportunity. it is so great knowing the many hearts this show has been able to touch during its (unexpected maybe expected) long run! until next time…🦋💛 taken in Tampa Theatre by @lanareneegreene

Opening Ceremonies!
Performing on the stage of Morsani Hall at the Straz Center was so surreal. I and the 57 kids performing were in rehearsal from 9 am until both of the ceremonies ended around 11 pm. It was hard work but a very rewarding experience!
