Some songs are bigger than the person singing them. 🇺🇸

“Get A Hero Home” is OUT TODAY.

Written by two of my good friends, Cory Batten and Phillip Pence, this one means a whole lot to me. I’m honored they trusted me to be the voice of it, and I hope it hits you the way it hit me the first time I heard it.

For the heroes. For their families. And for getting them home. ❤️🤍💙

We’re building the crew for Moonshine Massacre 2026.

Scare actors, characters, hayride crew, midway staff & more — there’s a place for you in the madness.

No experience necessary. Just bring the energy. We’ll teach you the rest.

I wasn’t gonna announce it this early but I figured why not climb to the top of a building and shout it to the masses. “Get A Hero Home” available August 28th! God bless the hero’s in uniform and behind h the wheel. If you are one of the good ones and would pre-save it drop an American flag in the comments and I’ll set that up for tomorrow and send a link. 🤠🇺🇸🙌🏻

I’ve been kicking around this idea for a while now and i’m excited to finally open it up…

MRC Nashville Songwriting Retreat August 13-16, 2026

This is not a Summit, this is not a conference, and it’s not in a hotel ballroom….

It is 12 writers living, writing, growing together under 1 roof in the heart of Music City!

4 nights and 3 full days writing songs, sharing stories, getting career strategy, Q&A with myself and industry pros, eating great food, and spending time building relationships that last years.

And YES, you will be writing with pro-writers on 2 of the 6 scheduled sessions

— 3 full days/4 nights lodging

— Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (Wednesday evening through Sunday morning)

— Small group masterminds

— Industry Q&A

— Pro-songwriting round (and an attendee round as well)

— Song Shares

— Time to connect wiht other serious writers

I am limiting this retreat to 12 writers. if you’ve been looking for an opporutnity to immerse yourself in songwriting and spend a few days surrounded by people who understand the journey, this may be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

Registration is now open, Dm or comment the word “retreat” and I’ll send you the link to secure your spot.

If i could go back 20 years and make an investment in one songwriting experience…it would be something like this.
