Road to Vegas — Day 2! 🎰🥷

Another day, another Ninja gym! This time we made a stop at @theninjaplayground to get some more training in and have some fun along the way. 💪🥷

But you can’t train all day… so we traded the obstacles for some mini golf! ⛳️😂

A little training, a little competition, and a lot of family time. Pretty good way to spend Day 2 on the road to Vegas!

Next stop… who knows? 🤠🥷

Road to Vegas! 🎰🥷

First stop on the road to @ninjawarrior was a familiar one—getting some training in at @ninjawearhouse with my old teammate @karsonvoiles !

The kids and I had an awesome training session, got to catch up with some friends, and put in some work. 💪

Even better, Karson and his daughter Kazdyn are competing together this season! Watching them chase the Ninja dream together definitely gave Gracie and me some motivation for the future. ❤️🥷

Maybe someday we’ll be lining up at the start line together!

For now… back to training. 🤠💪

POV: You’re trying to prepare for a interview… 🎬🤠

Meanwhile, your horses have decided they’re the real stars of the show. 😂

Apparently knocking my hat off and trying to bite me is their way of saying, “Don’t forget about us.” 🐴🤣

I guess when you live on a ranch, even your interview prep comes with a little unscripted entertainment. 😂🥷🤠

I became the Cowboy Ninja by simply following my passions. 🤠🥷
I’ve always had a love for nature, the outdoors, and understanding the world around me. Then I fell in love with a woman who grew up in agriculture—and that introduced me to ranching, the people, and the community that came with it.
That’s where the Cowboy came from.
The Ninja came from another passion: fitness. I’ve always loved pushing myself physically and mentally, and there’s probably no better way to test both than competing on American Ninja Warrior.
The funny thing is, I never set out to become the Cowboy Ninja. I just kept following the things I enjoyed, working hard at them, and seeing where they took me.
I’ve learned that passion is a pretty powerful thing. When you genuinely love what you’re doing, you’re willing to put in the work, keep learning, and stick with it when things get hard.
So maybe the secret isn’t figuring out exactly where you’re going.
Find what you love. Follow it. Work your ass off. And see where it takes you. 🤠💪🥷

My studious cowboy. 🤠📚

One day he’s riding the range, moving cows and getting dirty… the next he’s wearing a sweater vest and bow tie, carrying a briefcase like he’s headed straight for the boardroom. 😂

I love watching this kid grow into his own person. He’s learning that you can be just as comfortable in the saddle as you are in the classroom—and there’s no reason you can’t be both.

This kid has a bright future ahead of him. Proud to be his dad. ❤️

When destiny calls, do you answer? 🤔

Do you rise to the occasion—or let the opportunity pass you by?

For the last 15 seasons, I’ve been lucky enough to get that call to compete on American Ninja Warrior. And honestly, lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what keeps bringing me back.

Getting ready to compete year after year takes a toll—mentally and physically. I turn 40 later this year, and let’s just say my body doesn’t recover quite like it used to. 😂

These days, I probably spend more time stretching than swinging around on obstacles. 😅🥷

But there’s still something inside me that loves the challenge. I love seeing what I’m capable of, pushing my limits, and proving that getting older doesn’t mean you have to stop chasing big goals.

So when the call came…

I answered. 🤠🥷

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be competing in my 16th consecutive season of American Ninja Warrior!

I guess the Cowboy Ninja still has a few obstacles left in him. 💪🔥

Happy Birthday to one of the strongest and hardest-working people I know. ❤️

You give so much of yourself to our family, our kids, and everything we’ve built together. No matter what life puts in front of you, you keep showing up with more heart, determination, and resilience than anyone I know.

I’m incredibly proud of the woman, wife, and mother you are. I know the road hasn’t always been easy, but watching you face every challenge with strength has taught me more than I could ever put into words.

I’m lucky to get to do this crazy life with you.

Happy Birthday, Heather. ❤️ Love you! by @lancepekus

My ranch wish list is LONG… but this one is definitely near the top. 😅🤠🥷

Unfortunately, the ranching calculator isn’t quite agreeing with my shopping list. 😂 Might have to make a few more social media posts to help pay for this one!

A guy can dream, right? 🤠
