I’m really summoning my teenage emo self with this one.

I wanted to try something a little messier to get out of the primarily ink focus state I’ve been in recently. Felt pretty good to switch it up. by @landaftertime

04. Spell

Aren’t wishes just spells you cast on yourself? At least that’s how it feels making one on your birthday, hoping something magical is about to happen ✨

03. Moose

Moose are such mysterious creatures, beautiful but eerie. I wanted to play with that vibe, like they’re on a special quest unknown to us all.

02. Chimney

When I animate standalone scenes, I like making up stories in my head to give my character some more depth. For example, I imagine this little guy’s parents are out for the night and left him with a babysitter. He’s supposed to be in bed, but it was too hot in the house and so he had to get out. He knows he shouldn’t be up there, but that’s his favorite spot. ⭐️

01. Oak

I can’t believe it’s already been a year since the last @peachtober by @furrylittlepeach . I was able to explore my characters’ little world so much the last time around, so it felt right to start it off with all of them together 🍂

Not my usual style but we saw Akira in theaters this week and I was compelled to make this in it’s honour. Still one of the greatest animated film to ever grace my eyeballs.

Can you feel the air shifting? Summer is coming to an end…

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the camping we went to every year where my little brother would go absolutely NUTS down steep hills on his plastic tricycle.
