Josh’s thoughts and sounds on the HP-2. Equal parts cult classic and sonic weapon, this distortion device is anything but ordinary. It’s raw, gritty and chaotic. From subtle harmonic saturation to full-blown havoc, the HP-2 brings texture, tension and a touch of madness to any signal. A character that cuts through any mix. by @landdevices

H P - 2 // @landdevices Demo is up on my channel now! . So yeah, if you’ve been hanging around any amount of time, chances are you’ve seen this one around—very stoked to finally try one out, and it’s every bit as cool as it seemed back when I was first getting into the “boutique” scene like 5 years ago. It does the Harmonic Percolator thing, and it does it *really* well—blown out fuzz with that unmistakable texture, raw overdrive, and that “glassy” pushed clean sound that you can only ever seem to get from a fuzz with the guitar volume rolled off. Check out the demo for all of that and more—it’s a good one. . I have been dreaming about a stereo distortion with dry/wet blend for years. I’ve asked other manufacturers if it was possible and even looked into making one myself. That is why I’m so excited that @landdevices sent over their new Hunter stereo distortion pedal. In this clip I’m looping the Yamaha CS and pushing the Hunter to full wet and maxed distortion. Using the synth shaping controls on Yamaha, I’m able to push and pull the distortion into different sonic directions. Highly recommend this for blowing out all your stereo gear! by @landdevices
