Meet Landen Anders ✝️School & Grade: Clark Shawnee-Sophomore ✝️Sport(s) You Play or Are Involved In: Football, Indoor and Outdoor Track, and Powerlifting ✝️How long have you been involved with FCA? I was formerly involved in Shawnee’s old FCA one year before it ended up going away and then this year I started it back up at Shawnee! ✝️Why did you decide to be an FCA Student Advisor/Leader? I just want to spread the Gospel, bring transformation in our school, and bring people to Christ and FCA is a great platform to do so! ✝️What does FCA mean to you? At its core, FCA is about bringing the gospel into places where it doesn’t always get talked about: locker rooms, sidelines, practices, and making faith something active for everyone regardless their background as a new or longtime follower of Christ! ✝️How has FCA impacted your faith or life? FCA has been a great platform for me to share my faith, grow in a pastoral ministry setting, and allowed me to grow in the way that God has called me to preach his word! ✝️Favorite Bible verse: Joshua 1:9-I think in the book of Joshua before all the craziness and fighting happens God’s reminder often rings true with me, before all of the commotion of life God is with me first and wherever I go! ✝️One fun fact about you: I’ve got a ton of crazy fun facts about me, and I can’t just think of one so come and ask for one at Fields of Faith! ✝️One word or short phrase to encourage other students: If you’re gonna look like a fool for anyone look like a fool for Jesus by @landena13

Fun little media day 🥏 I’m grateful for all the wonderful people on this team the Lord has put into my life! Hebrews 12:1 by @landena13
Darling, my sweet Dakota Mae, Where do I start? Well I suppose I will from the beginning… I met you for the first time last winter, we did track together and I always thought you were awesome because you were so kind to everyone and you were goooodd! Then you complimented me… I had talked to you just in passing because I thought you were wonderful, but I was scared, scared from my last relationship, our age gap, and I just wasn’t sure. Though I knew one thing from the beginning, you brought me so much joy. Then I prayed and prayed about me and you and us and finally God gave me the confirmation to ask you… then you gave me the wrong number 😂 “You’re reached ____ county jail in Texas” I panicked… that was the beginning of our crazy adventures! From then on we went hiking, on dinner dates, and did so much more crazy stuff over the spring and summer. We laughed, danced (in the headlights on a backroad), and sometimes cried together, but through it all I’ve learned a lot in this wonderful last year of my life with you and I’m so grateful the Lord has placed someone so wonderful in my life! I’m grateful we get to study the Bible and pray with every night before we go to bed, and go to church with every Sunday and Wednesday night, and I’m grateful for the joy you bring me!!! I love you so much, more than words could ever describe and I can’t wait to continue to grow closer to the Lord with you and live many more years of my life with you!!! Forever and Ever, Amen 💜 by @landena13
