It has been almost a month since I got back from hiking the East Coast Trail in Newfoundland and I still haven't fully sorted through the whole experience.

It was incredibly challenging, especially physically, not outside my ability but definitely approaching the limits of what I was capable of and I feel like if a few things had gone a little differently I wouldn't have been able to complete it. I did 112km in 7 days plus some side trails and small excursions.

I took lots of pictures some days, almost none others but most of my photos were of the quality of the trail and very few of myself.
It was unbelievably beautiful on the trail and shedding all my responsibilities except to stay fed and healthy and just keep walking was an incredible blessing.

The trail was very rugged in lots of places and took some careful focus but I'd reccommend even a small section to anyone who is interested in visiting Newfoundland.

Other hikers and especially locals were so, so kind to me and excited to see people out amd experiencing the beauty of what Newfoundland had to offer and it felt so amazing to be welcomed so warmly by so many of them. taken in East Coast Trail by @landinowski
