The day we moved out of the first house my daughter lived in, she asked for a push on the backyard swing like she had done countless times before. That moment became the inspiration for this month’s song. Full song and story are at Substack. Link in bio. by @landonthompson

You’re Enough is officially out today!

This one started with my son humming a melody on the couch. Over the next few months it grew into a song featuring both of my kids on backing vocals, field recordings from our neighborhood pool, and the kids hearing themselves shout “strut your stuff” on @kutx

Thanks to everyone who has listened and supported so far. Special shoutout to @sparetherock for supporting this one from the start!

Listen wherever you stream music. Link in bio.

This month’s song started with my son humming a melody on our couch. A few weeks later, my kids were singing on the track and hearing themselves on the radio.

“You’re Enough” is out now.

The full story including voice memos kid vocals, and a few happy accidents is up on Substack. #independentmusic #songwriting #austinmusic #parenting by @landonthompson

I can’t stand going to bed angry.

Smile is a reminder to repair things when they need repairing, assume positive intent, and remember how lucky we are to share this existence together.

It also happens to feature my entire family on vocals!

The full song and story are now live on Substack (link in bio)
