End of the World is the most vulnerable I’ve ever been on a record 🌓 It’s written from the perspective of two characters in a novel that changed me: Gail Wynand and Howard Roark from the Fountainhead.

It’s a story about loving someone you can’t control. It explores the most human contradiction: being hurt by the exact thing you love, wanting to retaliate, and realizing any attempt to hurt them only wounds you deeper because love doesn’t switch off on command. It’s heartbreak, pride, regret, and surrender in one piano ballad.

@lukehaverty helped me drag my piano through the snow at 6am in record setting freezing cold. Then directed, filmed and edited this series. I owe you one - any artist looking for creative direction would be lucky to work with you.

Massive praise to @iankimmel for engineering this song and @marcusmims for the vocal arrangement. Streaming everywhere now 🌓

PART I: THE SPARK

. . .

16 diamond$ traces the space between desire and truth.
where chemistry shines, but closeness never quite lands.
A story about what rises fast, falls hard, and teaches us how to begin again.

Writing this song taught me that some connections aren’t lessons in love, they’re lessons in timing, honesty, and self-respect. It was my way of honoring something real, even if it was never meant to last.

Here’s to the diamonds that shape us 💎 streaming everywhere now

Huge thank you to the creative mastermind behind this project @get_the_hec_out who weaved a beautiful story around the song that blew my mind - for anyone looking for a CD she needs to be top of list, and to @maxdickson3 who’s talent both as DP and editor brought Emily’s vision to life 💎

I’ve been taking a break from posting my music and trying to find a way to share these songs I write that feels less pushy and more authentic, so thanks for being here and sticking around 💙 haven’t quite figured it out so here’s a video of me lip-syncing it on the Manhattan bridge 🌉 Knicks in 5

Responsibility. Devotion. Autonomy. Brotherhood. Carousel operates as a metaphor. It spins, it returns. It never leaves the center 🎠 I put my soul into this record. It wrestles with a lifetime of complex emotions, and if anyone can relate with the lyrics and feel less isolated, it makes it all worth it 💙

@get_the_hec_out heard the song and unpacked its meaning in a way that I couldn’t have myself, and built a beautiful visual world around it. It was such an honor to have her creative direct the campaign - you have such a gift Emily 🙏🏼

Thank you to @iankimmel @gunnrson_music @cece_tha_artist @marcusmims for your contributions to the song. It wouldn’t exist without you guys
