Cathedral Cross country 4th of July patriot contest, proof kids will do anything for a Sonic gift card 🤣
Thankful for this hardworking group of kids that keep showing up and putting in the work for their team and school, making something as tough as summer training a little more fun.

Losing friends is never anything any of us want to face, no matter the circumstances but tragic loss is a gut punch that leaves you nearly numb.
Casey lived a life of adventure mixed with calculated risk, he was a perfectionist in so many things it was almost unfathomable.
He had a thirst for knowledge and if it interested him he'd know more about it in a day or two than someone trained for months, he loved his wife and boys deeply and wanted the best life possible for them, he had a work ethic that would destroy most men before he barely got started for the day, he would extend a helping hand to any friend in need. Casey and I didn't always see things eye to eye and we probably were both a little hardheaded over the yrs but we were friends that our ties ran deep, deep with laughter, practical jokes, love for equipment and maybe a sip or two of fine bourbon.... This heartache is going to take a long time to heal and be riddled with a few regrets and a whole lot of memories. Praying for Lindsey and the boys that God will bring a comforting peace to their hearts and souls.

We will run with conviction and confidence tomorrow at our state meet, the kids are as ready as they can be and there's no changing anything that was missed over the last 5 months it took to get here. anxiously waiting to see if we have that something extra it will take to pull out one of the most highly anticipated races the day.
Privileged to hold this position as the coach of this fine team, pray for these courageous boys and girls that they will be strong and race without fear of the competition.
Great teams don't just happen, they are built.
