“The Joy of the Lord is my strength.”2025 was full- of laughter, chaos, surgeries, recovery, and most of all the faithfulness of the Lord. It was one of the best and hardest years, so it was more important than ever to set my mind on His everlasting goodness and sovereignty through the truth of the gospel. He promises to walk with us and be our strength, so I will choose to give thanks in all circumstances. Praise be to God! by @landrygray16

SP —> Calgary, CAWhat a mind-blowing example of how God takes a small step of faithfulness and produces an abundance of fruit. In Calgary, we partnered with a local church to run a free kids camp and share the gospel with the community. Calgary has 1.78 million residents—it’s almost twice the size of Charlotte. 95% do not have a relationship with Christ. Half of the population have immigrated from diverse cultures around the world, so encountering and being able to impact such a variety of ethnicities was amazing and an opportunity I hadn’t expected. On average, it takes 5 years from when someone in Calgary first hears the gospel to when they commit their lives to Christ, so not only were we directly sharing the gospel with individuals, but we helped churches build deeper relationships with the community through serving out of an abundance of Jesus’ redeeming love. Personally, I had fruitful conversations and interactions, but many more that were difficult, discouraging, and even heartbreaking. The Lord grew my trust in Him and His providence, and reinforced the urgency of His command in Luke 10:2 into my heart. The Lord also introduced me through the Holy Spirit to alternative methods of sharing the gospel and showing people I truly care about their souls in a few short minutes, which was something only God could do in a culture where people are less inclined for small talk or conversations with strangers as is common in the South. The Lord built a team of God-fearing servants around me to encourage and uplift me. He answered prayers for godly community and I am blessed to be an example of that. Our God is so good!
