We had a fun little adventure in Halifax over the weekend. The Museum of Natural History @mnhnovascotia has a very cool dinosaur exhibit on until Labour day, so obviously we had to go check it out. We also had a chance to walk around the Halifax Public Gardens @hfxpublicgardens and the waterfront. Such a beautiful city! by @landscapesoflibby

Our Floorwork choreography from last night's class @thestudioaaf.

What a fun time performing at the "Oops, Wrong Party!" Showcase yesterday at @thestudioaaf. We were supposed to be celebrating The Studio's 9th birthday, but I was a party pooper and threw myself pity party instead. Should've just stayed home, I guess. 😜

I got to learn some fun new things this week with @anneke.russell @thestudioaaf, including the scary, scary pop from shoulder mount to ayesha, and a handstand variation that almost caused me to absolutely eat it (and not in a good way like the kids are saying these days). But I survived! And I got to revisit this sweet little apprentice/Jamilla torso switch to inside leg hang transition that I haven't touched in many moons. Still got it! 🙃😁 by @landscapesoflibby

The lights really decided to take over the video on this one, so you can barely see me. 🎇🫥 Ah well. Still a fun, slow, classic of a song.

My favourite thing about @nuceramics Bayside Buff Ecoclay is how natural it is. My pot is officially a better gardener than I am. 🥰🌱 by @landscapesoflibby

I think every artist knows the feeling of going through the whole process of making something only to have it be a failure in the end. This coffee pot with matching pour-over was just the primary test version of larger ones that I'm currently working on, but that doesn't make it any less disappointing that the glaze ran more than expected. It looks so beautiful, but the lid is securely glued in place. I did manage to get the pour-over off the cookie, but clearly Cedar Hill Blue will not be a contender when I get to glazing the final set.
Side note: disappointment, frustration, and rage are all emotions that AI does, in fact, evoke in me. 😒🤖🤬 by @landscapesoflibby

Floorwork class last Tuesday included 3 mini sequences that we linked together into one longer combo. I would've been pretty happy spiraling around with the first part endlessly though. 😵‍💫🤪💞 by @landscapesoflibby
