Somewhere along the way, I stopped being afraid of the bigger stage.

I used to think confidence was something you built after proving yourself enough times.

I'm beginning to think it's also something you discover when you finally give yourself permission to step forward.

Today, I stood on stage as one of the MCs for our PAC Townhall.

And strangely enough, I wasn't nervous.

Not even once.

I found myself enjoying the room. Reading the energy. Improvising. Balancing my co-MC. Making people laugh. Keeping things moving.

At one point, I even told him, "Be yourself. I'll balance you."

And I meant it.

Because maybe that's what good communication — and good leadership — is supposed to feel like. Not trying to control the room, but knowing how to hold it.

Today was also a small milestone for our TA team. To be seen and heard beyond our usual spaces, and to contribute to a room filled with colleagues and leaders from across our wider PAC community in Indonesia, China, India and Singapore, meant more to me than I expected.

I've spent the last few years learning how to lead myself better.

Today, I got to see a little glimpse of what it might look like to lead a room too.

And honestly?

I'd happily do it again. 🎤

As 2025 is coming to a close, i feel the tingling in my heart to reflect on what a year this has been.

This year marks 4 years of me being in my company. And in the span of 4 years, there have been SO many changes. I mean they weren't kidding when they say that the tech Industry is dynamic. I've been through losses and goodbyes as well as hellos and welcomes to new team mates and colleagues. I've witnessed quite a few leadership changes too. This was important to me as I saw real life examples of different leaders whom previously I've only read in theory. I know now, when a leader impacted my life in some ways, my tears can't help but gather. This happened again today.

I've always admired leaders. Not bosses. But TRUE LEADERS. Whether they hold a formal position or ones that are in the background. Especially leaders who are not only using their intelligence but also, heart. These leaders have a special place in MY heart. Truly inspiring.

As I admire these leaders, I myself see how I could have better lead. Being a mother, I try to lead with clarity and example. Being an older sister, I lead with understanding and openness to different perspectives and personalities. As a daughter, I lead with compassion and love and learning to accept different stages in life. And with these roles combined, I see that I was able to lead myself, my heart and my brain, better. I can say now, with the utmost confidence, that I am a better person now than I was last year.

So here's to 2025. Here's to all the lessons, to the experiences, to the new people I've met, to new passions discovered. To everything, and everyone. I am grateful.
