An amazing week of fellowship and diving deeper into God’s Word with Bayou Sara Baptist Church’s College group- @bsbc.college.
This was an AWESOME week. Making new friendships and furthering other ones, hanging out with faithful people all week, going to an Amish store (😆), being a Kemps tryhard, learning a million card games, and most importantly learning more about Jesus and who He wants me to be AND RECEIVING MY SUMMER MISSION!
I wanted to share that this summer I will be in Utah from May 27-July 21 with GenSend to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, evangelize and make friendships primarily with members of the LDS church/Mormons! I am so expectant and excited for this mission and am so excited to see how God will work in & through these people and this college group. The best Galentine’s party ever. Finding a home at Bayou Sara has been the biggest blessing in this season. I’m so glad the Lord placed these wonderful girls in my life. I always am dramatic about the opportunity to fellowship and how sweet it is- but I truly just love and cherish doing life with these women. @bsbc.college

GOD IS SO GOOD 😊😊
This summer at Camp Baldwin has revealed sooo much to me! Seeing God work in my own life and through others has been so amazing to witness. Forming genuine, Godly friendships with not only my fellow missionaries but the people in Salcha and my campers has been so enriching. Seeing God so clearly work in the highs and lows is so fascinating to me- I KNOW that He does, but witnessing it is another story. I came into this summer not having much biblical knowledge, just with a love for God and a willingness to serve and learn. That’s all you need. Pastor Mark kept telling us, “God will work more in you than through you.”. I didn’t believe it at first, but was 100 percent correct. My life has changed and I thank God for allowing me to be in such a spiritually nurturing environment for 2 months. There’s so much more to say but if I kept going this would be an essay!! I love my friends and the people of Salcha so so much, especially Pastor Mark, Cobalt & Sicily, and ESPECIALLY especially Baby Shiloh 💗.
