Swimming doesn’t end at the pool. LANE IX is being built for everything beyond it. Swim rooted. Built in the water. Designed for life beyond the pool. We’re still in development and sharing the process as we build. Current garment imagery is AI-assisted concept visualisation. Real samples and official product photography will follow before the first drop. #LaneIX #BuiltInTheWater #BeyondThePool #SwimCulture #SwimmerLife by @laneixofficial
This is where the idea starts becoming a collection. Lane IX began with Ivy’s artwork, her connection to swimming and the feeling that there should be more clothing made for the life that exists around the pool. These concepts are the next step. Oversized tees and hoodies in dusky pink, olive, cream, sage and black — using artwork and details drawn from the visual world of swimming, but designed to feel just as natural away from it. They’re not final products yet. They’re part of exploring what Lane IX can become — the fits, colours, graphics and pieces that best carry the story from swim culture into everyday life. Some designs are quieter. Some make more of a statement. But they all come back to the same idea: Swim rooted. Art inspired. Life beyond the pool. And as the collection develops, we want the people who understand that world to be part of it. Which would you wear? Lane IX — the lane beyond the pool. ***Development note: the garments shown are AI-assisted concept visuals created to explore the first LANE IX collection. Final designs, samples and real product photography will be shown before anything is offered for sale.*** #LaneIX #TheLaneBeyondThePool #SwimRooted #ArtInspired #SwimCulture SwimLifestyle ConceptDesign by @laneixofficial
Lane IX began with Ivy — but the idea came from everything beyond the lane. Swimming was already part of her life. So was art. What was missing was clothing that connected the two — something inspired by swim culture, but made for the moments outside the water too. Training days. Competition weekends. Travel. The gym. Poolside. Everyday life. That idea became even more personal through Ivy’s own artwork. One of her floral paintings became the starting point for a clothing design, taking something created on canvas and carrying it into the first Lane IX pieces. That is the philosophy behind the brand. Swim rooted. Art inspired. Life beyond the pool. Lane IX is the imagined lane after the last lane — the space where swimming continues into creativity, identity, style and everyday life. THE FINAL PIECE. Season 01 is complete. Introducing Horizon Block / Ash Current — a washed charcoal base, finished with the off-white Horizon Block artwork. Quiet in colour. Strong in identity. Swim rooted. Made for life beyond the pool. The final choice was shaped with your input — and now the full Season 01 set is in place. PONDS FORGE. NATIONALS WEEKEND. 🏊 Three days of racing, early starts, packed warm-ups, tight turns and a lot of very tired shoulders by Sunday. Good luck to everyone heading to Sheffield for the Swim England Masters National Championships. Race hard. Enjoy the noise. Find your lane. A DIFFERENT SHADE OF LANE IX. Flower Block / Petal Haze Tee. A softer colour, but still rooted in the same ideas behind Lane IX. Swimming. Art. Identity. The life around the water. This is one of the first real Lane IX samples — moving from concept into something physical. The Flower Block brings together the starting block, lane lines and floral artwork in a piece designed to feel just as at home beyond the pool as it does around swim culture. Still refining the final details. Still building the first range. Real sample. Real progress. Swim rooted. Art inspired. Life beyond the pool.
