🎬 Toxic , Toxic, Toxic 🎬

Never have I ever used the word toxic so much in my life 😂 . As much as I do my best to stay away from all things TOXIC, this Toxic experience, I leaned fully into & trusted the process.

I was chosen to be Earline in Cinnamon Brown’s upcoming dramedy and I am so grateful for this opportunity because it opened unlocked so much inside me & so much for me!

I learned so much about myself and others. I experienced co-existing and creating in an intentional way and pushing past my comfort zone and seeing something I have a passion for through.

I want to shoutout everybody who was involved with Toxic. Jambalaya love. A mix of everything that came together to make something tasteful and entertaining.
@cinnamon_brown_entertainment @ethanxevans thank y’all for the opportunity & seeing me and my potential! Thank you for creating space for me to do something I love and enhance my craft.

Big love and shoutout to my @joysarah6 …or Jennifer 😏 because she’s a dynamic woman and sensational actress! I learned so much just by watching her in her element. Joy, you are truly beautiful in how you express yourself and how you commit to your craft. It was no greater pleasure than to learn and work with you during our time together. It’s up baybee, your flowers , I give. 🌹

Big Love to Salih also! This was our first speaking role in a film… so together we got to learn a lot. I’m grateful that you were Ron because it allowed me the opportunity to challenge myself on and off screen and really be intentional in my everything. Thank you for being you. Working and learning with you was a vibe! 🤘🏾

Moments to remember 🖤

• I was my brothers grooms woman and he let me wear a tux. I’ve never worn a tux, I now want a tux lol❤️‍🔥

• I got to witness so many people come together for my brother and sister and show their love and support. Witnessing their journey is such an honor & privilege.

• OG Dr. Proctor & Dr. Carmen Proctor Brown killed the daughter- dad dance ! Hands down the dopest dynamic duo!

• My brother danced intentionally over 3 times and I loved watching every bit of it lol. I loved watching his grooms men celebrate him also!

• Got to see some of my Open High Fam!

• & Some how me and my sister didn’t get one darn picture or selfie together so I will always remember the time spent the night before and getting to chat with her and her MOH. I was reminded of what true friendship, sisterhood and love is and just how beautiful it can be.

Sunday Blues. 💙🌊

Missing my family in Cuba 🇨🇺!
I’ve experienced so many happy and sad emotions in one moment over the last 24 hours, it’s insane. 🥲😢🥹

I have many experience that leave me full of gratitude but this experience has opened my eyes and heart in a way that I’m so grateful for and couldn’t have imagined.

Love is a universal language that doesn’t care if you speak English or Spanish to communicate its truth.

Y’all enjoy these pics because the next few posts will be about the real experiences!

My heart is full, my heart is open, my mind has changed about so many things .

I set an intention to go to give, express love, see truth and received & felt that and more .

This first solo international journey was one of true purpose and has unlocked a desire to want to do more !

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a picture , so here’s a lil dump for the time I’ve spent away. ✨

Can’t guarantee you when I’ll be back, but I’m always here if you need me… but only if you really need me, because I too need me lol. 🫶🏾🤲🏾🥰🥹

My favorite thing about the last few months is I’ve been able to listen in a way I’ve never listened before. It’s been very intentional, very transformational and healing.

I’ve also been slowly getting back in my creative space and it’s exciting, refreshing. After going through a dark time, it’s good to do things that you know will make you feel good and so yes! Nature , art, healing music, it feels good! Big love to @erykahbadu for an interstellar performance. Sound healing x reiki , rah sekhi on 1000. An experience for another post! Grateful to feel.

Wanna know what else feels good?
To walk in Richmond International Airport and see Me! This particular acting gig was a very full circle moment and one that I’ll talk about later on! Grateful for the opportunities and roles I’ve been able to fulfill this year! Believe in yourself ; beautiful things are created when you do!

Grateful also for the people who have intentionally contributed to my evolution this season in light and dark. Grateful for those who were the catalyst for the Nexx level, Lanexa. Whew lol
Grateful for the genuine , intentional love that was given. I genuinely needed it.

Grateful I don’t look like what I be going through, but also grateful I’m equipped for everything sent my way! 🤲🏾

This month, my people have been showing a lot of love and have been getting me out the house & I’m appreciative because I needed it. Grateful for the experiences and people the reflect love, peace, being.

This month has been a true testament of standing 10 toes down on what’s right, what’s true, what’s best for me…even if it crumbles some things in the process. What’s mean to last will still remain.

! I want to start by expressing gratitude to everyone who has supported me and showed up for me, purchased a ticket, shared a post, helped to prepare me for the premiere .
