Trying to find the words to say about yesterday and honestly still trying to process the entire weekend. I’ve been so hung up on all the little things happening in my life, but yesterday, God showed me how much more FAMILY means than anything else around you.

Much more than our house was lost—it held years of memories, family gatherings, laughter, milestones, and so many moments that we will forever cherish. It’s incredibly difficult to process losing a place that meant so much to our family, but we are beyond grateful that our loved ones are safe.

We want to give a huge thank you to Hawkins Fire Dept and first responders who showed up and worked so hard during such a devastating situation. We will forever be grateful for the courage, time, and effort you put into helping our family.

We also want to thank every single person who has reached out, checked on us, prayed for us, offered help, brought something by, or simply reminded us that we aren’t alone. The amount of love and support we’ve received has meant more than we could ever put into words.

While this is an incredibly painful chapter for our family, we know that a home is more than four walls. The memories, love, and family that made it a home are still with us. We will take it one day at a time and be grateful for the people surrounding us through it all. ❤️‍🩹 My parents are the strongest people I know, and so I heard that God gives his most difficult battles to his strongest soldiers.

I also ask that if you are willing and able, to please help us during this difficult time. I will post sizes of all of us in the comments. There has also been a Go Fund Me started, but PLEASE be aware of scammers! Donations can be dropped off at Refuel Nutrition & Energy

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has been there for our family. We will never forget it.❤️ taken in Hawkins, Texas by @laneykatew
