It was an immense privilege to participate in the first UgenticAI Summit in Tysons Corner, VA hosted by Ugentic CEO, Anik Singal. Among 300+ entrepreneurs and AI practitioners, we discovered, learned, and celebrated remarkable feats demonstrated by wonderful AI leaders such as Jonathan Mast, Molly Mahoney, Jeff J. Hunter, Alicia Lyttle, Kevin Anson, Austin Armstrong and many others. A highlight was meeting this terrific author named Anirudh Cheruvu who has written ‘Gamify Your Life’ which embraces quantum physics, AI, and numerous other mechanisms for living your most fulfilled life. Anik Singal’s vision for supporting 450 million small and medium sized businesses through UgenticAI’s services and products inspired all and deserves high praise for his passion to brighten the world by empowering its business community. Am glad to be sharing this ‘Good News’ story! Onward into positive possibility! by @langfordleadership

Was wonderful to be with Ismael Rodriguez, Jewell, and Connie the Yeti at the great Jack Canfield retirement celebration! Nearly 680 million of Jack’s inspiring books sold worldwide! The world is better and brighter for Jack’s remarkable presence and influence!👏♥️ by @langfordleadership

Repost from @deepakchopra

At this pivotal moment in American and world history, which U.S. presidential candidate will lead our nation toward its highest destiny as a global leader of prosperity, peace, liberty, fairness, equal opportunity and justice for all? Deepak Chopra offers sage wisdom for making this critical decision. What do the ‘better angels’ of mind and heart tell you?

To my dear Instagram community - I have a wonderful good news gift and recommendation for you today! It’s the long-awaited arrival of ‘From Conflict to Convergence’, co-authored by a dear friend and colleague, Rob Fersh, and Mariah Levison. It is an inspiring book of great stories featuring wisdom and guidance for transforming painfully divisive conflict into elevated creative solutions!

Rob was the founder of Convergence Center for Policy Resolution in 2009. I have enjoyed the privilege of serving on his Leadership Council since its inception where I witnessed the complex and promising impact of Convergence’s conflict transformation process. Mariah Levison now leads the organization with her stunning, decades-long expertise in the organizational conflict management arena.

What’s especially noteworthy is that Convergence Center for Policy Resolution’s geographical home is Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and features poignant, funny, moving and overall compelling anecdotes of super intense, bi-partisan wrestling matches on issues of national urgency.

The upside of reading this book? Two things:

1) the reader is granted access to the confidential spaces in which downright miracles took place as leaders navigated the perilous terrains of intractable conflict and willingly chose a path for win/win solutions;
2) the book contains the Convergence ‘Secret Sauce’ for transforming conflict including its practical and compassionate philosophy of human nature and accessible methodologies and tools for healing human alienation.

YES - IT”S A GOOD NEWS STORY with uplifting encouragement and actionable mechanisms for weaving together the torn fabric of our currently polarized culture. A worthwhile and fun read with practical and simple application! by @langfordleadership

This week - Delighted to travel from home in Brooklyn, NY to London for the privilege of facilitating a leadership program with advanced Big Tech leaders! Positive innovation fostering positive transformation! by @langfordleadership

Hoorayyy for Juneteenth! 🙂
My question for us all today is: where can we envision bold, positive change, growth and transformation within our teams and organizations? How can the awe and inspiration from Juneteenth spur our imaginations toward creating barrier-breaking organizational relationships and culture, our products, services, experience for customers, stakeholders, colleagues?

While leveraging conscious barrier-breaking intentionality, how can our organizations further express our highest human consciousness and potential? How is each of us, personally, invited and accountable for reaching up toward a brighter, better story and destiny?

I believe in the resilient, unrelenting, passionate power of our human ‘Better Angels’ and the consciousness-evolving possibilities they invite us to! Why? Because it’s more fun! Please join me in ‘reaching higher!’

If curious, please see more historic context for Juneteenth over on my facebook and LinkedIn page.

From Kamala Harris: “Today as we celebrate Juneteenth, together we are reminded of the promise of America….A promise of freedom, liberty and opportunity, not for some but for all. In many ways the story of Juneteenth and of our nation is a story of our ongoing fight to realize that promise.”

It’s amazing what happens when we blend vision, mindfulness, intention and action!

Chapter 10 of my book, The Speed of Passion. features Dr. David Bach, MD, a neuroscientist whose brain and body research among corporate leaders and the U.S. military demonstrates the human capacity for breaking through barriers of limiting beliefs.

In a semi-private workshop in NYC, I enjoyed the privilege of receiving Dr. David Bach’s live, in person coaching where he taught our tiny group how to ‘break the barriers of our habitual thinking and brain patterning.’

You’ll see from the attached, humorous video my surprise as I was able to smash my limited thinking and break a wooden board using vision, mindfulness, intention, and action.

Consequently, my suite of coaching offerings includes practices for re-wiring the brain to enhance performance! Check out the discussion of those practices included in my book The Speed of Passion, Chapter 10: Enter Neuroscience and Breaking Barriers.

More here on Dr. Bach, who is a Harvard-trained neuroscientist and Founder and CEO of Optios: https://optios.ai/ - a San Diego-based neurotechnology company: Redefining the Limits of Human Performance: An Optimized Brain Changes Human Performance; Optimal Brain Performance Gives You a Competitive Edge.

At last, at the behest of many good friends, I am taking the opportunity to officially announce the publication of my first book,

‘The Speed of Passion: How Relationship Based Leadership Drives Innovation.’

This leadership development book celebrates and honors my 20+ years in executive coaching, speaking, leadership training with many thousands of wonderful leaders in corporations, start-ups, and ngo’s.

It is dedicated to my favorite businessman of all time, my dear brother, Rick Sutherland (1956-2022), who was much beloved by all of the business colleagues and associates he worked with. Rick was the embodiment of authentic goodwill, kindness, generosity, servant leadership, customer advocacy, and employee ownership and empowerment.

Stay tuned – more to come within this ‘passionate’ publishing adventure! by @langfordleadership
