♻️ What can you create from something old? 🌍
To celebrate Recycling Week, our children were challenged in Geography to turn old materials into something new and useful!
Putting their recycling vocabulary into action – Recycle, Rebuild, Reuse and Repeat, they let their imaginations run wild, creating everything from and sundials and stationary pots to turtles and castles!
We were so impressed by the creativity, care and pride that went into every entry.
🏆 A special congratulations to our winners, Amaya and Suzie and a huge well done to everyone who took part!
💚 Small actions make a big difference. Recycle today for a greener tomorrow!

🎶 Wembley, here we come! 🎶
The countdown to Young Voices 2027 has begun! 🌟
On 9 February, our Heritage Harmonies choir will be heading to Wembley to take part in the largest children’s choir concerts in the world, and preparations are already underway!

Mr Clark recently went along to meet the Young Voices team, learn the songs and bring everything back to the classroom so our singers can start rehearsing. 🎤
And there was an extra surprise… Young Voices conductor David had a special message for our Heritage Harmonies singers! 💛

Take a look… and then it’s time to get practising! 🎶

☕🍰 Coffee, cake and community! 💚
A huge thank you to all the parents who joined us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning at TLHP.
It was lovely to come together to raise money for such a worthwhile cause, chat with our teachers Headteacher, Miss Blackmore, and share more about the support and services available to families both within school and beyond.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a lovely morning. 💚

🌟 Places now available for babies & toddlers 🌟

For the past year, our nursery has been providing a calm, caring and nurturing start for our youngest children, a happy place where they can grow in confidence, explore, discover and belong.

As some of our little ones take their next steps through our school, we’re delighted to now have places available for babies and toddlers from November 2026. 💛
But don’t just take our word for it. Visit our website to discover what our parents say and find out more about joining our nursery family:

🎶 Heritage Fest – One Community, One Special Night! 🎶

Heritage Fest is always one of the highlights of our year, a chance to come together and celebrate the incredible talent across our whole school community. 💛

From our youngest performers to current and former pupils, parents and our wonderful Heritage Harmonies choir, it was a very special evening.

We particularly love welcoming former pupils back and seeing how their confidence has grown over the years. What better inspiration for our younger children than seeing where their own journey could take them? And seeing our parents take to the stage shows them that performing, having fun and giving something a go is for everyone!

Heritage Fest really is what we are all about different generations, shared experiences and One Community coming together.

Thank you to everyone who performed, supported and helped make it such a memorable evening.

🏃‍♀️☀️ What makes a great Sports Day? A community coming together, cheering each other on and having fun!
From egg and spoon races and sack races to obstacle courses, tug of war and even the parent races, our TLHP Sports Day was a wonderful celebration of our school community.
It was fantastic to see our values of Unity, Ambition, Kindness, Trust and Resilience shining through in every race, every challenge and every cheer from the sidelines.
A huge well done to everyone who took part and thank you to our families for helping make it such a memorable day. 💙 #OneCommunity #SportsDay #MoreGoodDaysAtSchool #Unity #Resilience #SchoolCommunity by @langley.heritage

🎶 What happens when young voices find their confidence? They become unstoppable!
For the third year running, Heritage Harmonies proudly performed at the Slough Music Service Showcase, themed Our World, Our Voice. From Waving Flag to Unstoppable, our singers shone brightly, with Zuzanna delivering a stunning solo performance of Don't Stop Believin' in front of an audience of 2,000+ after a successful audition.
We've loved being part of your journey, Zuzanna! 💙 A huge thank you to Mr Clark for leading the children to the Hexagon and to every performer for their hard work and dedication during rehearsals. Thank you to Slough Music Service for inviting Heritage Harmonies back once again, we hope to be singing with you again next year! 🎤

⚽ Inspiring the next generation!
Year 5 had the exciting opportunity to meet Hannah Mackenzie, a teacher at our secondary, The Langley Academy, and a semi professional footballer who currently plays for #FulhamFC. She visited our school to take part in a Q&A session linked to our big question on how a sporting lifestyle supports a healthy lifestyle.

Hannah spoke openly about her career, her training routines, and the discipline required to balance teaching with playing football at a high level. She highlighted how sport can strengthen both physical and mental wellbeing, helping children deepen their understanding of the topic.

The pupils were fully engaged and asked thoughtful, inquisitive questions about her career journey, her achievements, and the lifestyle choices that help her succeed. They left the session inspired and motivated, with a real-life example of resilience, ambition, and healthy living.

Year 5 had an icy opportunity to visit Slough Ice Arena, enjoying a fun and challenging day on the ice. The children played with hockey sticks and pucks and trained with a professional figure skater, practising turns and jumps while developing the perseverance and resilience of athletes.
They also went behind the scenes on a tour of the arena, including a visit to the plant room to learn how the ice is kept frozen. The day ended with an exciting climbing activity, where students continued to show determination and teamwork.
A fantastic day of learning, resilience and fun!

🌍What makes you YOU 🌍

Our whole school came together to celebrate our cultures, identities and traditions. Children shared experiences, explored different heritages, tried new foods, learned new words and listened to music from around the world.

Through kindness, curiosity and respect, our pupils showed the true meaning of our British Values and celebrated what makes each of us unique. We talked about the importance of inclusion, understanding different perspectives and resolving conflict peacefully.

Together we learn. Together we respect. Together we belong. ❤️
