Support of the Langston Galloway Foundation means supporting the children of our community. The children of Baton Rouge fuel our mission. During this year's Weekend Experience the Langston Galloway Foundation and its Founder gifted 250 tees, distributed just shy of 200 @ethicsthebrand sneakers, professionally trained 112 basketball players in grades 6th-12th, and served 180 free meals. A round of applause for the children we serve. Until next year, Summer 2025 loading. #BatonRouge #225 #LangstonGalloway #LGFoundation #2024WeekendExperience #Basketball

To our Coaches and Volunteers, thank you for your unwavering dedication. Our annual basketball skills clinic is free for the children who attend. Year after year our coaches and volunteers staff the clinic. They show up because of their love of the game and for the children. As we approach a decade of service to the Baton Rouge Youth it would not be possible without you. Thank you! #2024WeekendExperience #Coach #LangstonGalloway #Basketball #SkillsClinic

The Langston Galloway Foundation restores an outdoor basketball court annually. Eliminating barriers to play is a significant aspect of the Foundation’s work. The court restoration ceremony officially kicks off our annual Weekend Experience. This summer we had a the pleasure of restoring BREC’s Mills Avenue Park in the historic Scotlandville community. #LangstonGalloway #Scotlandville #BatonRouge #225 by @langstongallowayfoundation

As Summer 2024 comes to an end and we redirect our attentions to our Fall programming we must stop and give thanks. To our Founder, Mr. Langston Galloway and our President, Mrs. Sabrina Galloway we want to say thank you. Your philanthropy and heart for the game and the children who love it is unparalleled. The Baton Rouge youth and community is better because of your generosity. #Grateful #LangstonGalloway #SabrinaGalloway #LangstonGallowayFoundation #BatonRouge by @langstongallowayfoundation

Combatting community blight, eliminating barriers to play, and developing young athletes are a few of the benefits of the weekend’s purpose. Thank you to our generous Founder @langgalloway10, our Board Chair and President @seauxsab, the Board of Directors, our community partner @brec_parks, District 2 community leaders, our Family, our Coaches, the LGF team, and most importantly the children of our city.
