🎃🍄‍🟫A little inspiration for the week ahead: Indulge a feast of fresh fruits and vegetables of the season, for both the eyes and stomach. Take a stroll through a market (Borough market is one of our favourites) and glory at the displays of pumpkins, mushrooms and plump fruit. If you fancy adding to your inventory you could collect some truffle oil, mulled wine spices or a bottle of apple juice.

Simple Autumn Rituals, 4:

Your short rest between errands.

🌧️ Quietly sit back and watch the falling rain and listen to it tapping at the window … and be thankful you’re indoors. Light a cosy autumn candle before sunset and watch the flame dance. You could listen to a seasonal podcast, however the sound of the rain on the window pane alone may lull you into a nap…

🌧️A Handful of Seasonal and Nature Podcasts🌧️
A Life More Wild, Canopy and Stars
As the Season Turns, Ffern & Lia Leendertz
Fabulous Folklore with Icy

This seasonal tip was brought to you by the Equinox Nature Sprite. He is a gentle creature who relishes in the autumnal changes. He is a mandrake root who cheerfully dwells in the mushrooms and fallen leaves of the woodland floor. He is here to encourage and assist you in embracing the autumn equinox and to find the magic in everyday rituals. From the Autumn Equinox and into October (in the northern hemisphere) he’ll be sharing Simple Autumn Rituals to bring a little of nature’s wonder into your life.

🍁Simple Autumn Rituals, 3:

🫖Brew yourself a pot of tea, your potion of restoration, and carefully breathe in the steam as you pour it into your favourite mug. Put your feet up, light an Equinox Sproutling Spell Candle and relax.

☕️In the following caption we’re sharing our own chai recipe but we highly recommend Lucky Leaf Teas
Luckyleafteas.com for the adventurers amongst you.

My favourite is the Sorcerer’s Spice, for the flavour and the storytelling. ✨ @luckyleafteas

☕️Autumn Masala Chai Tea Recipe
Serves 2
Ingredients
300ml almond or oat milk
200ml water
6 green cardamon pods
1/2 a cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
3 cloves
2 slices of fresh grated ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger)
4 whole black peppercorns
2 tablespoons tea leaves *
5ml vanilla extract
10 - 15ml maple syrup, light brown sugar or agave nectar to taste

Method
1. Lightly crush the whole spices with a mortar and pestle

2. Combine the water and milk in a saucepan and heat on the hob

3. Add all of the spices and stir gently whilst bringing the milk to boiling point

4. Turn the temperature down to a simmer, add the tea leaves, vanilla and sugar, and leave to steep for 4 minutes

5. Strain and pour into mugs or handled glasses by @langtreebotanics

🍁Simple Autumn Rituals, 2: When out for a walk, glory in the earthy scents and stop to collect nature’s offerings such as leaves, pinecones and berries, your components for the season. You could bring the season indoors by decorating your altar, gaming space or mantle piece with old man’s beard, acorns and seed pods.🌰

Great places for an Autumn Walk in GB
- Sheffield Park and Garden, East Sussex, England
- The Hermitage, Dunkeld, Perthshire, Scotland
- Allen Banks and Staward Gorge, Northumberland, England
- Bodnant Garden, Conwy, Wales
- The New Forest, Hampshire & Wiltshire, England
- Glen Affric, Highlands, Scotland
- Stourhead, Wiltshire, England
- Coed y Brenin Forest Park, Gwynedd, Wales
- Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden, North Yorkshire, England

🥪Pack a flask of coffee and a plant-based sausage sandwich and find a bench to take in the colours of the turning leaves for an additional ritual.

🌕 THE HARVEST MOON & THE NATURE SPRITE
As the brilliant Harvest Moon prepares to hang heavy in the autumn sky, the veil between the woodland and our homes grows thin. This is the ultimate moon of abundance, gathering and transition—and the wild things of the forest are stirring. 🌾✨

🕯️At Langtree Botanics, our ethical, earth-crafted goods to flow with these ancient lunar rhythms. Beneath the glow of this golden moon, the Guardian Nature Sprite dances.

🍁Handcrafted and steeped in autumnal woodland magic, these quiet protectors are stepping out of the shadows to watch over your home sanctuary. As the nights grow longer and cooler, let your Equinox Nature Sprite Spell Candle anchor a simple full moon ritual on your altar or hearth:

* Bathe in Moonlight & Earth: Cleanse your hands and spirit with our rich, botanical soap, letting natural, earthy scents ground you in the turning season.
