rookie season…the most trying yet rewarding year yet. Trying out for Code Red was the BEST decision I have ever made. The amount of growth and discipline I have learned this year will carry me through the rest of my life. This team truly is special, and means the world to me. Making history with them and debuting Code Red’s first ever, DIA Spirit Rally routine is something i’ll never forget. I have been dreading this moment. The last time I take the stage. The day that a huge chapter of my life closes. Dance shaped me into the young woman I am today. I have know idea who i’d be today if my mom didn’t take me to my first dance class back in 2011. I instantly fell in love. I have chased my dreams and accomplished things I never even thought I was capable of. Even though i didn’t give little lanie everything she wanted, I hope she’s proud. We have come SO far, we even ended the season with 3rd overall in the nation and the highest score i’ve ever had with 293.3. My time at inspire has come to an end, but I hope I inspired those younger dancers. I hope i’m someone a younger dancer looks up to. My love for dance will never fade. Dance isn’t always fair, but it was always there for me. The world is silent on stage. I simply love what I do. I want to thank Mr. Kyle for being one of my biggest cheerleaders. Not for one moment has he ever doubted me, and he always believed in me especially when I didn’t. And to Miss Dixie, I hope you’re proud of the dancer and young woman i’ve become. So much of this process has been dedicated to you. I wish you were here, to see me now. I truly believe a lot of this is because of you. My career as a competitive dancer is now over, but i can’t wait to see what my future holds with @ballstatecodered . Onto bigger and better things.
